At Bumble, we’re building a world where all relationships are healthy, equitable, and rooted in kindness, and that commitment starts with how we care for our people. Our Employee & Labor Relations team plays a critical role in creating fair, consistent, and values-led experiences for employees and leaders across the business.
This Employee Relations Advisor role sits within our established ER function and will work closely alongside our Senior ER Advisor, partnering with People & Culture Business Partners and subject-matter experts across the business to support a positive, compliant, and human-centred employee experience. With a primary focus on the UK, and some opportunity to support US-based cases, you’ll help ensure employee relations matters are handled with clarity, respect, and sound judgement. You’ll also contribute to strengthening our use of data, systems, and AI-enabled tools to improve insight, consistency, and decision-making, always guided by our Bumble values of Respect, Courage, and Excellence.
This is a 9-month fixed-term opportunity, ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on ER casework, values thoughtful collaboration, and wants to make a meaningful impact in a lean, high-trust team.
What You'll Do
- Provide practical, compliant guidance to managers on employee relations matters, helping them navigate issues confidently and in line with Bumble values and policies and relevant local laws/regulations.

- Act as frontline support for employees and managers on employee relations queries, providing clear, timely guidance and signposting on policies, processes, and next steps.
- Take accurate notes that capture the salient points of ER meetings, including flexible working discussions, investigations, grievances and disciplinary processes, draft clear summaries, outcomes, and follow-up communications that reflect fair, evidence-based decision-making.
- Coach and support managers through performance, conduct, and absence-related issues, helping them prepare for conversations, understand risks, and apply policies consistently and respectfully.
- Demonstrate ownership, sound judgement, and an agile mindset when balancing employee experience, legal requirements, and business needs.

AI in Bumble Inc. Hiring
At Bumble, we may use AI tools to support parts of our recruitment process — such as helping us record, transcribe, and summarize conversations, and supporting job alignment by comparing resumes and job descriptions to highlight skills and potential roles that may be a good match. These tools help us work more efficiently and stay focused on you during our conversations. Importantly, all hiring decisions are made by people. AI is used only to support our team’s efficiency and improve the candidate experience — not to evaluate or decide on your candidacy. Participation in AI-supported interviews and conversations is completely voluntary and will not impact your candidacy. If you’d prefer to opt out, simply let your recruiter or interviewer know at the start of a call, or anytime during the interview or conversation. Summaries and related data are retained only as long as needed in line with our internal data retention policies.
