PARALEGAL – Estate Planning

We are seeking a proactive and meticulous Bilingual Paralegal (Estate Planning) to join our team. Your mission will be to support our attorneys in creating legal structures that protect our clients' legacies, serving as a vital bridge for our Spanish-speaking community. Schedule: Monday to Friday | 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST
Primary Responsibilities:
Legal Drafting: Draft and prepare essential estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and advance directives.
Information Management: Gather, review, and organize client files, including asset lists, personal data, and financial documentation.
Bilingual Communication: Act as a key point of contact for clients (especially Spanish-speaking ones), collecting information, scheduling meetings, and providing case updates.
Legal Administrative Support: Prepare legal correspondence and summaries in both English and Spanish, maintaining absolute confidentiality of all files.
Research & Compliance: Conduct research on U.S. estate planning regulations and procedures (with an emphasis on Georgia state law).
Execution Coordination: Assist with the logistics of notarization, witnessing, and the formal signing of legal documents.
Deadline Control: Manage calendars, appointments, and deadlines to ensure every process is completed in a timely manner.
Skills and Qualifications:
Bilingual Fluency: Full professional proficiency in Spanish and English (written and verbal) is required.
Proven Experience: At least 2 years of experience as a Paralegal in U.S. Estate Planning (Georgia experience is a plus).
Education: Associate or Bachelor degree in Paralegal Studies, Law, Business, or a related field.
Technical Knowledge: Solid understanding of U.S. estate planning documentation and legal processes.
Operational Excellence: Strong attention to detail, ability to handle multiple cases simultaneously, and strict adherence to deadlines.
Tools: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal case management software.
