We are seeking a highly independent Paralegal to support a U.S. law firm handling high‑volume California probate and conservatorship cases. This role requires strong procedural knowledge, excellent written English, and the ability to support an attorney in real time, including during live court hearings. This is a long‑term opportunity with growth potential and expanding responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Draft California probate pleadings (Petitions, Notices, Letters, I&A coordination, distributions).
• Draft conservatorship pleadings (GC‑310/320, GC‑335, Care Plans, accountings, annual filings).
• Track deadlines, probate notes, notices, and service requirements.
• Calendar hearings and statutory deadlines under California rules.
• Coordinate with courts, clerks, examiners, and investigators.
• Provide real‑time attorney support during overlapping hearings.
• Manage cases in Clio Manage and maintain compliant electronic files.
Requirements:
• 3+ years of California probate and/or conservatorship experience.
• Law degree required (must be an attorney).
• Advanced written English (C1 or higher).
• Proven ability to manage heavy caseloads and strict deadlines.
• Prior experience with a U.S. law firm.
• Proficiency with Clio Manage, Adobe Acrobat, e‑filing systems.
• Reliable internet and secure remote workspace.
Preferred:
• Hands‑on experience drafting California Judicial Council forms.
• Bilingual Spanish or Tagalog (plus).

• Calm under pressure, highly independent, detail‑oriented, proactive, organized, adaptable, and committed to long‑term stability and growth.
