The Senior Clinical Implemention Lead is responsible for independently owning and advancing the end-to-end clinical enablement strategy for Eko’s products across large provider groups and enterprise health systems. This role focuses on driving clinical adoption, workflow integration, and sustained utilization by designing scalable enablement programs, optimizing implementation approaches, and ensuring measurable customer outcomes.
This individual operates with a high degree of autonomy and serves as a trusted clinical partner to internal teams and external stakeholders. The Senior Clinical Implemention Lead collaborates closely with Product, Enterprise Marketing, Sales, Medical Affairs, Customer Success, and Data Science to ensure that real-world clinical workflows, training needs, and performance insights meaningfully inform product direction, deployment strategy, and overall business value.
This role plays a critical part in demonstrating the real-world clinical impact of SENSORA by ensuring clinicians adopt the technology effectively, workflows are optimized, and utilization and performance data are consistently captured, analyzed, and shared. The ideal candidate brings strong experience in clinical program design, implementation science, and health system operations, and is motivated by operationalizing novel technology at scale.
This is a remote position with a 50-75% travel requirement.
As Senior Clinical Implementation Lead at Eko, You Will:
Strategy, Program Ownership & Cross-Functional Influence
- Independently own and evolve clinical enablement strategy for SENSORA and future clinical products, ensuring customers achieve measurable improvements in workflow efficiency, quality of care, and early disease detection
- Translate clinical, operational, and business requirements into scalable enablement frameworks, training curricula, and implementation playbooks used across diverse health system environments
- Partner with Product, Engineering, and Data Science to influence roadmap priorities based on real-world workflow insights, training requirements, and clinical performance trends
- Collaborate with Sales and Customer Success to support pre-sale and post-sale implementation strategies, value narratives, and customer-specific enablement plans that accelerate adoption and impact
- Serve as a senior clinical voice with customers, articulating how Eko’s technology impacts quality metrics, throughput, operational efficiency, guideline adherence, and downstream clinical pathways
- Incorporate feedback and priorities from enterprise customers and KOLs into enablement strategy and customer-facing resources
Clinical Training & Implementation Leadership
- Lead clinical enablement activities across all stages of go-to-market, from pre-implementation planning through long-term optimization
- Design and deliver high-impact training materials, workflow guides, competency checklists, and role-specific curricula for providers and clinical support staff
- Conduct advanced training sessions (onsite and virtual) for providers, nurses, and medical assistants, ensuring consistent quality and clinical proficiency
- Identify workflow friction points and independently design mitigation plans in partnership with Product, Customer Success, Enterprise Marketing, and Data Science
- Establish and refine best practices for change management and sustained clinical behavior adoption across varied customer environments
Data, Insights & Performance Measurement
- Lead EHR-based utilization data collection efforts, including partnering with customers to define discrete fields, support baseline data capture, and guide structured 30/60/90-day reviews
- Drive SENSORA performance and impact data collection by coordinating echocardiogram, referral, and follow-up data with internal teams
- Partner with Data Science to interpret algorithm performance outputs and translate results into customer-specific KPI reporting
- Synthesize utilization, workflow, and performance insights into actionable recommendations for customers and internal stakeholders
- Build and maintain standardized dashboards, reporting templates, and communication frameworks to scale insights across accounts
Operational Excellence & Enablement Infrastructure
- Ensure adherence to SOPs and contribute to the design of tools, templates, and systems that improve efficiency and program repeatability
- Create scalable implementation and enablement frameworks suitable for deployment across large enterprise health systems
- Partner closely with Medical Affairs to align enablement insights with clinical evidence generation, advisory boards, and publication efforts
- Cultivate strong relationships with internal and external clinical stakeholders and serve as a trusted advisor to providers, nursing leaders, and health system leadership
Informal Leadership & Mentorship
- Act as a mentor and informal leader for colleagues by sharing best practices, providing guidance, and raising quality standards
- Contribute to team-wide consistency in training delivery, clinical messaging, and implementation approach
- Support onboarding and ramp of new team members through knowledge sharing and peer coachin
As Senior Clinical Implementation Lead at Eko, You Have:
- 5–7 years of experience in clinical enablement and real-world evidence research enablement, clinical research training and implementation, clinical education, or health system operations, ideally supporting large-scale deployments.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Nursing, Public Health, Health Administration, Clinical Education, Implementation Science) from an accredited institution
- Deep understanding of U.S. healthcare delivery models and clinical workflows across ambulatory and/or inpatient settings
- Demonstrated success implementing clinical technologies or medical devices with measurable real-world evidence, clinical adoption and utilization outcomes
- Strong working knowledge of clinical research principles (e.g., HIPAA, ICH-GCP) and comfort interpreting clinical and utilization data
- Proven ability to independently manage multiple complex initiatives in ambiguous environments
- Exceptional communication skills with experience presenting to clinicians, clinical leadership, and health system executive
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to anticipate needs and risks proactively
As Senior Clinical Implementation Lead at Eko, Good to Have:
- Experience implementing medical devices or AI-enabled clinical technologies within health systems
- Familiarity with algorithm development lifecycles and applied clinical AI
- Working knowledge of cardiovascular, pulmonary, and vascular disease states
- Experience with implementation science frameworks (e.g., RE-AIM, CFIR) and formal change management methodologies
