Internal Tech teams manage and support our internal IT infrastructure, systems, and tools, ensuring operational efficiency, security, and continuous improvement, enabling employees to work effectively and securely with up-to-date technology resources. They bridge the gap between the company's overall IT strategy and the execution of that strategy to ensure the company selects and executes the right projects and programs.
As Oracle Business Platforms Development Consultant you’ll perform hands on implementation and configuration work of Oracle Fusions services, interfacing and synchronization with a variety of systems (Fusion, EPM, OIC, and other internal systems) on both existing business needs and future Platform capabilities released by the vendor.
The role will work closely with other technology departments (operations L2, PO, Architect) and business stakeholders and has an emphasis advanced technical configurations.
Responsibilities:
- Configure and manage tasks for Customizations, Interfaces, Data Migration in Oracle Cloud Financials(P2P, C2C, R2R, ICO) and Projects Module
- Define Subledger Accounting Rules - rule-based accounting engine.
- Define Tax Module - Setup tax for specific regions.
- Participate in the implementation of the solution designed by the Product architect; raise questions and concerns based on personal experience and propose new ways of implementation.
- Understand at high level BI reports/Tables and OIC
- Understand and implement localizations form a functional pov
- Participate in Internal Projects Implementations and Enhancements of current solutions related to financial solutions implementation and configuration in Oracle
- Implement new features in Oracle finance modules, or adapt/maintain existing ones.
- Participate in root cause analysis of identified issues and contributes to recommendations on remediation plans including methods, procedures, and technologies to ensure issues are resolved.
- Engage with internal SDM team in order to understand and implement the solutions in Financials and Projects Module
- Contribute to the maintenance of knowledge base of current Oracle related tools, methods and best practices
- Oracle Fusion Accounting Module
- Understanding of Financial/Accounting processes and flows
- Experience in a technical support/cloud implementation position
- Knowledge of Oracle Applications Cloud system configurations/setups
- Experience in requirements gathering, identify, test and implement solutions efficiently.
