In this role, you will provide essential support to the Partnership Success department in delivering high-quality partnership activations and member engagement initiatives. Your work will help ensure that our partnerships run smoothly, fulfill contractual obligations, and create meaningful experiences for members.
Essential Functions
- Event Planning and Execution:
- Manage and plan multiple public-facing events simultaneously.
- Source and manage vendors, venues, caterers, and other event-related services.
- Oversee all aspects of event setup, including decor, signage, audiovisual equipment, registration, and more.
- Manage on-site event coordination, whcih can include evenings and weekends.
- Prepare post-event reports and track event data as needed.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Development, Operations, and other teams to integrate events into broader promotional campaigns.
- Partnership and Sponsorship Support:
- Work closely with the Partnership Success team and other internal stakeholders to provide support and ensure that all sponsorship needs and commitments are met on time.
- Support team with ticket allocations, sweepstakes rules, department tracking, catering, and more for all hospitality and tickets.
- Coordinate the delivery of sponsor benefits as needed, including branding, signage, VIP experiences, and activations.
- Strategic Planning:
- Develop strategic event concepts and themes aligned with organizational goals and objectives.
- Provide expert advice on event best practices, trends, and innovations to enhance event experiences
- Emphasis on creativity, innovation, and attention to detail to deliver memorable and impactful experiences that engage audiences, elevate brand presence, and drive successful event outcomes.
- Some travel involved.
- Bank Secrecy Act: Remains cognizant of and adheres to Wings' policies and procedures, and regulations pertaining to the Bank Secrecy Act.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or Hospitality Management.
- 2+ years of event management, partnership or sports experience, sales or customer service experience, or administrative work.
- Organizational ability, interpersonal skills, discretion, judgment, and initiative.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with tact and diplomacy.
- Able to analyze problems and take effective action or make appropriate recommendations.
- Attention to detail and accuracy for data entry.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle changing priorities based on business need.
- Ability to develop strong relationships across a diverse coworker base while establishing trust and credibility with managers at all levels and across Development.
- Written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills with various levels within an organization.
- Planning, organizational, time management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Driver's License with an acceptable driving record required.
- Ability to work some nights and weekends and travel approximately 10%
The pay range for this position is: $68,000-$75,000 plus 10% annual target bonus.
Final compensation for this position will be determined by various factors such as relevant work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, certifications, location and internal pay equity.
