About this role
As a working student in our People Operations & Workplace team, you’ll get a behind-the-scenes look at how HR and office life really work. You’ll support the team with everyday tasks and help make our office a place where people enjoy coming to work.
In this role, you will collaborate with stakeholders across all levels of seniority. At Eye, we believe in growth and ownership. Depending on your ambitions and performance, this role offers a clear path to deepen your expertise in People Operations, Employee Experience or Office Management, giving you the hands-on experience needed to kickstart your career.
What You’ll Do
Support with administrative onboarding tasks - coordinating with new joiners, IT, shipping laptops, and preparing welcome packages to ensure new colleagues have a great Day 1.
Collaborate with our Senior L&D Architect to help optimize and automate our pre-onboarding and role-specific onboarding processes.
Act as the local point of contact in our Berlin office - handling incoming mail, managing deliveries, and helping us scout and set up a new, expanded office space.
Keep the office running smoothly by organizing team lunches, and ensuring meeting rooms are ready for visitors when necessary
Support the team with practical HR tasks including offboarding,coordinating with local authorities (immigration, Berlin district, landord) and managing shared inboxes to help answer employee questions.
Assist with booking travel, scheduling meetings, and coordinating with the Dutch HQ to keep our international team connected.
Help us maintain our culture by arranging gifts for work anniversaries, birthdays, and other special occasions.
You will prepare presentations, reports, and support various projects.
What You Bring
You are currently enrolled in a degree program in Human Resource Management, Business Management, Psychology, Facility Management, Kaufmännische Ausbildung or a related field.
You are located in Berlin and are available to be physically present in the office to handle post, shipments, and local facility needs.
You have a service-minded attitude and enjoy creating a welcoming environment for colleagues and visitors.
You like "owning the outcome” and are comfortable taking ownership of tasks in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
You have work proficiency in both German and in English (our main working language)
You are comfortable using MS Office and are quick to learn new digital tools.
