Director, Integrated Partnerships

FloSports is a world-class sports media company strategically positioned to be the essential destination for passionate sports fans, delighting them with live event coverage, breaking news, highlights, stats, rankings, and team and player profiles. We are growing Our Sports every day by continuing to invest in our ever-expanding ecosystem, which consists of over a dozen sport verticals and hundreds of streaming partners. FloSports is creating the home for college conferences/leagues and sports like grappling, hockey, track & field, racing, cheer, wrestling, and more, and we are looking for innovative and passionate people like you to help us! 

THE ROLE: 

We are seeking a hungry, driven, and highly successful sports media/advertising seller to join our Integrated Partnerships team as an individual contributor. This role is designed for a proven closer with existing relationships across both blue-chip and SME accounts, who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and is motivated by outsized earnings and impact.

You will be responsible for prospecting, pitching, and closing multi-faceted advertising and sponsorship deals, leveraging FloSports’ unique assets-including live events, original content franchises, social and digital video, influencer/talent activations, and data-driven audience targeting. You will play a pivotal role in elevating FloSports’ brand perception among marketers, increasing deal size, and unlocking new revenue streams.

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Own the Full Sales Cycle: Identify, prospect, pitch, negotiate, and close integrated advertising and sponsorship deals with both blue-chip brands and SMEs, leveraging your existing relationships, business development abilities, and FloSports’ growing portfolio of assets.

• Drive New Business: Aggressively pursue net new revenue while expanding current relationships, with a focus on verticals and sectors aligned to FloSports’ strategic growth plan (e.g., sports sponsors, heartland brands, tech, women’s sports brands, tourism, pharma, betting, and more).

• Solution Selling: Develop creative, insight-driven proposals that solve marketer business needs, integrating live events, custom content, social/influencer activations, podcasts, and digital media.

• Data-Driven Targeting: Utilize audience insights, Quantcast, and CRM tools to target the right brands and deliver measurable ROI for clients. Track and report on pipeline, outreach, and deal progress using Salesforce and other sales enablement tools.

• Elevate Brand Perception: Serve as a brand ambassador for FloSports, helping to revolutionize our “storefront window” for marketers by selling award-worthy content and innovative sponsorship opportunities.

• Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner with content, marketing, production, and product teams to package and deliver compelling, turn-key programs for advertisers. Ensure flawless execution and client service post-sale.

• Meet and Exceed Quotas: Consistently achieve and surpass aggressive quarterly and annual revenue targets and outreach quotas, with a focus on increasing average deal size and landing multi-year, six and seven-figure commitments.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

• Track Record of Success: 5+ years in sports media, digital advertising, or integrated sponsorship sales, with a proven record of exceeding revenue targets and closing six- and seven-figure deals.

• Deep Relationships: Existing, active relationships with decision-makers at both blue-chip brands, agencies, and SMEs across relevant sectors (sports, CPG, tech, retail, financial, tourism, etc.)

• Hunter Mentality: Relentless drive to win new business, with a high outbound activity level and a knack for opening doors and creating opportunity where none previously existed.

• Strategic and Creative: Ability to develop and articulate compelling, insight-driven programs that connect FloSports’ assets to advertiser objectives. Experience with CTV, custom content, events, influencer, and digital-first sponsorships is a plus.

• Data-Driven Operator: Comfortable using CRM, data, and audience insights to inform targeting, pipeline management, and reporting. Experience with Salesforce and digital ad tech is preferred.

• Expert Communicator: Polished, persuasive, and comfortable presenting to senior marketers, procurement, and agency partners. Able to build trust and credibility quickly.

• Team Player: Works collaboratively with internal stakeholders to deliver for clients, but operates with an owner’s mindset and is accountable for personal results.

• Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of the evolving sports media landscape, marketer expectations, and the value of live, digital, and social sports content.

METRICS:

• Quarterly and annual revenue targets (direct sales, sponsorships, and integrated packages)

• New business development (net new revenue, vertical penetration)

• Average deal size and multi-year commitments

• Pipeline activity and outreach quotas

• Client satisfaction and renewal rates.
