Summary

The Sales Operations Manager role partners closely with sales leadership to improve forecasting accuracy, enhance pipeline visibility, and optimize territory performance. The ideal candidate combines strong technical skills with business acumen and thrives in both hands-on analysis and strategic collaboration.

Job Responsibilities

• Partner with sales and commercial leadership to deliver insights on pipeline health, revenue forecasting, and territory performance.

• Manage Salesforce reporting frameworks, dashboards, and data governance, ensuring accuracy and adoption across the sales organization.

• Conduct analyses on sales productivity, territory optimization, and ROI of commercial initiatives.

• Support improvements in the Lead-to-Order (L2O) process, identifying opportunities for automation and efficiency.

• Mentor and guide junior analysts, promoting a culture of data-driven decision-making.

• Develop and maintain reports and dashboards on sales performance, forecasts, and key performance indicators.

• Collaborate with Marketing, Finance, and Product to align operational strategies and support commercial success.

• Recommend process improvements and implement tools or workflows that increase sales team efficiency.

Education, Experience, and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Analytics, or related field (MBA a plus).

• 5–7 years of experience in Sales Operations, Commercial Analytics, or related functions, ideally within biotech, diagnostics, or life sciences.

• Strong proficiency in Excel, SQL, and BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).

• Proven experience managing and optimizing CRM platforms; Salesforce expertise required.

• Ability to translate data into actionable insights and communicate effectively with leadership.

• Strong project management skills and ability to execute in a fast-paced environment.

• Experience mentoring or guiding junior team members preferred

Physical Demands

This is a sedentary role requiring prolonged periods of sitting while working at a computer. Physical demands include:
