The Talent Acquisition Specialist plays a key role in supporting the Talent Acquisition function by owning recruiting execution for defined, repeatable individual contributor roles while also providing flexible recruiting and operational support across high-priority hiring initiatives.
Reporting to the Senior Director, Talent Acquisition and working closely with the Talent Acquisition Partners, this role supports the full recruiting lifecycle and flexes based on business demand, ensuring roles are filled efficiently, candidates have a strong experience, and hiring teams are well supported.
This role is well-suited for a recruiting professional with foundational full-cycle recruiting experience who is ready to take on greater ownership and contribute meaningfully to the broader People & Culture function.
Seeking candidates located in the Washington, DC Metro area. This role is currently remote, with the expectation that it may transition to a hybrid schedule requiring approximately two days per week in a DC-area office once established.

Essential Job Duties
- Own full-cycle recruiting for defined, repeatable individual contributor roles, including intake, job posting, sourcing, screening, interview coordination, and offer support
- Serve as the primary recruiter for assigned repeat or individual contributor roles, ensuring timely delivery and strong candidate outcomes
- Partner closely with Talent Acquisition Partners to support hiring needs across intake, sourcing, screening, coordination, and offer stages
- Review, screen, and assess candidate resumes and applications to evaluate qualifications and alignment with role requirements
- Conduct phone and video screening interviews to evaluate candidate fit and interest
- Support job posting, intake setup, and requisition readiness in partnership with recruiters and hiring managers
- Utilize LinkedIn Recruiter, ATS tools, AI tools, Boolean search, and creative sourcing methods to identify and engage active and passive candidates
- Provide interview scheduling, candidate travel coordination, and ongoing candidate communication to ensure a seamless hiring experience
- Jump in across recruiting workflows as needed, including sourcing, screening, coordination, scheduling, and offer logistics, during periods of high hiring volume
- Track and manage candidate activity, interview feedback, and hiring manager communication in the applicant tracking system
- Partner with Employee Experience to ensure seamless preboarding and day-one readiness for all new hires, including follow-up on role-specific onboarding completion by hiring managers
- Support offer coordination, approvals, and documentation in collaboration with recruiters and People & Culture stakeholders
- Leverage recruiting technology, automation, and AI-enabled tools to improve efficiency while ensuring ethical, unbiased, and compliant recruiting practices
- Assist with coordination of external recruiting vendors when applicable
- Identify opportunities to improve recruiting workflows, candidate experience, and operational effectiveness
Other Job Duties
- Participate in team projects related to recruiting process improvement and talent pipeline development
- Support employer branding initiatives, hiring events, and career fairs as needed
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor or HHAeXchange leader
Travel Requirements
- Travel up to 10%, including overnight travel
Required Education, Experience, Certifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- 2โ4 years of experience in full-cycle recruiting, talent acquisition, or HR
- Experience supporting recruiting efforts in healthcare, SaaS, technology, or services-based organizations preferred
- Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter, applicant tracking systems, and sourcing tools
- Familiarity with sourcing techniques including Boolean search, pipeline building, and candidate engagement strategies
- Self-starter with a willingness to dig in, learn quickly, and proactively take ownership of work in a dynamic environment
- High degree of flexibility and adaptability, with the ability to jump in across recruiting and operational needs as business priorities shift
- Demonstrated professionalism and discretion, with the ability to handle confidential conversations and sensitive information appropriately
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage shifting priorities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to maintain accurate, well-documented records in an applicant tracking system (ATS)
- Willingness to explore and responsibly adopt AI-enabled tools to enhance productivity, efficiency, and innovation in recruiting workflows
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
- Demonstrated interest in continued growth within Talent Acquisition or People & Culture
The base salary range for this US-based, full-time, and exempt position is $70,000 - $80,000, not including variable compensation. An employeeโs exact starting salary will be based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, merit, location, and the ability to exemplify the HHAeXchange core values.
