We’re looking for a Local SEO Specialist who can drive visibility, rankings, and inbound demand for a multi-location, service-based healthcare business. This role is execution-focused and results-driven, centered on owning local search performance across Google Business Profiles, location pages, and service-specific searches.
You will be responsible for improving map pack rankings, increasing qualified local traffic, and turning search intent into booked appointments. This role is ideal for someone who understands how local SEO actually works in competitive markets and knows how to connect rankings to real-world patient acquisition.

What You’ll Work On
Local SEO Strategy and Execution
- Own and execute the local SEO roadmap across all clinic locations
- Improve Google Business Profile performance including rankings, visibility, and engagement
- Optimize for local service keywords tied to physical therapy, performance, and recovery services
- Prioritize opportunities based on competition, intent, and conversion potential
Google Business Profile Optimization
- Manage and optimize listings including categories, services, descriptions, and media
- Drive and manage review generation strategies and reputation signals
- Monitor insights, map pack rankings, and local visibility trends
- Resolve listing issues, duplicates, or inconsistencies
Location Pages and On-Page Optimization
- Optimize location and service pages for local search intent
- Improve titles, headers, internal linking, and schema where applicable
- Ensure NAP consistency across the site and third-party directories
- Support creation and optimization of local landing pages as needed
Local Authority and Visibility
- Improve local citations and directory accuracy
- Support local link and partnership opportunities when relevant
- Monitor competitors and identify gaps in local visibility
Tracking and Performance Reporting
- Track local rankings, calls, direction requests, and traffic
- Report on performance with clear insights tied to patient acquisition
- Iterate strategy based on results and competitive movement
What You Bring
- 3 to 6+ years of hands-on Local SEO experience
- Proven ability to rank businesses in competitive local markets
- Strong understanding of Google Business Profiles and local ranking factors
- Experience optimizing location-based service businesses
- Familiarity with tools such as Google Search Console, Google Business Profile, BrightLocal, Whitespark, or similar
- Ability to connect local SEO work to real conversion outcomes
Nice to Have
- Experience working with healthcare, wellness, or service-based businesses
- Familiarity with multi-location SEO strategies
- Experience implementing local schema and technical SEO improvements
- Comfort using AI tools to support research or optimization workflows
