Senior Brand Designer
Horizon3.ai is seeking a Senior Brand Designer to play a key role in the upcoming evolution of our visual identity. We are embarking on a brand evolution, and we need a designer who can help define that new direction and then bring it to life across our most high-visibility touchpoints — from the digital screen to the physical floors of major trade shows.
Phase 1: Brand Identity. You will partner with leadership to execute a refreshed visual system. You’ll help us answer: How do we stay true to who we are while showing up as a modern, enterprise-level brand?
Phase 2: Brand Creative. You will lead the creative execution of many of our high-visibility brand moments. This includes immersive environments for trade shows, premium brand swag/packaging, ad campaigns, and product feature launches.
High-touch brand execution: Lead the design for "physical" brand experiences, ensuring our identity feels as premium in person as it does on a screen.
Brand system building: Help translate our brand strategy into a scalable visual language (typography, color, motion, and photography direction) and build toolkits to aid rapid execution.
Collaborative partnership: Act as a creative "sparring partner," iterating in the open and refining concepts based on business objectives and stakeholder feedback.
Brand asset stewardship: Maintain and evolve our digital brand guidelines and asset libraries to empower the broader team.
5–8 years of experience: A proven track record in brand design with a portfolio to prove it, ideally with background in fast-paced in-house environments.
Tool mastery: Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign), Figma, and Canva.
Abstract problem solving: Ability to translate complex, technical cybersecurity concepts into compelling visual metaphors that are accessible to both CISOs and practitioners.
Technical & print proficiency: A deep understanding of print production, large-format specs for events, and materiality.
Web & digital literacy: A strong understanding of how brand identities translate to the web. You are comfortable hand-offing designs to developers and understanding the basics of responsive and accessibility constraints.
Enterprise-grade art direction: You know how to move beyond tech clichés. You can define a proprietary visual language — through custom illustration, photography direction, or iconography — that differentiates us in a crowded cybersecurity market.
Brand empowerment: You take pride in creating "guardrails, not gates." You build robust Canva templates and asset libraries that allow our field marketing and sales teams to move fast without sacrificing brand integrity.
Strategic conviction: The ability to articulate and defend design choices based on brand strategy, while remaining adaptable to evolving business requirements.
Growth-driven mindset: You prioritize the brand’s goals over personal aesthetic preferences and view feedback as a tool to sharpen the work.
AI-augmented workflow: You have integrated Generative AI tools (e.g., Midjourney, Gemini, Adobe Firefly) into your workflow to accelerate ideation, automate repetitive production tasks, or rapidly prototype concepts.
Motion design: Ability to bring the brand to life through animation or video (After Effects).

In accordance with various State’s transparency regulations, we provide the following salary range information for this position:
Base salary range: $157,250 - $166,500 annually. The exact salary will be determined based on the selected candidate’s location, qualifications, experience, and relevant skills.
Additional compensation: All full-time roles are eligible for an equity package in the form of stock options.
