Role Overview
We are seeking a results-driven, hands-on Vice President of Sales to lead and scale our revenue organization as we move upmarket from SMB into mid-market and Enterprise. This role owns new business growth while building a disciplined, scalable sales motion that aligns Sales, Customer Success, and Business Development.
The ideal candidate has successfully led inside sales teams, closed complex enterprise deals, and partnered cross-functionally to drive long-term, repeatable growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Growth & Enterprise Expansion
- Lead the transition from SMB-focused sales to mid-market and Enterprise customers
- Develop and execute sales strategies aligned with company growth objectives
- Drive complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise sales cycles
Sales Leadership & Team Development
- Lead, hire, coach, and scale high-performing inside sales teams
- Establish clear performance metrics, KPIs, and forecasting discipline
- Build a culture of accountability, execution, and continuous improvement
New Business & Revenue Ownership
- Own new logo acquisition and overall revenue growth
- Personally engage in high-impact enterprise deals as needed
- Ensure strong pipeline generation, deal progression, and close rates
Customer Success & Retention Alignment
- Partner closely with Customer Success Managers (CSMs) to support retention, renewals, and expansion
- Ensure smooth handoffs from sales to post-sale teams
- Align sales strategies with long-term customer value
Business Development & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Business Development to expand pipeline and strategic opportunities
- Collaborate with Marketing, Product, and Leadership to refine go-to-market strategy
- Use customer feedback and market insights to inform positioning and sales execution
Sales Operations & Optimization
- Build and refine scalable sales processes from lead qualification through close
- Analyze performance data to drive forecasting, decision-making, and reporting
- Manage sales planning, territory design, and resource allocation
Experience & Qualifications
- Proven experience scaling a sales organization from SMB to Enterprise
- Demonstrated success selling complex, high-value B2B solutions with longer sales cycles
- Experience leading inside sales teams focused on outbound and inbound new business
- Strong background working with or alongside Customer Success and Business Development teams
- Track record of building a predictable pipeline and revenue growth
- Experience in Audit, Risk, Compliance, or GRC sales is a strong plus
