This is a strategic commercial role within the life sciences and biotechnology sector, focused on driving growth across key academic, government, diagnostic, and research accounts. You will be responsible for building and expanding relationships with scientific and bioprocessing stakeholders, positioning advanced solutions that support critical research and therapeutic development. The role requires a strong consultative selling approach, combining technical understanding with commercial execution to address complex customer needs. You will work closely with cross-functional technical and commercial teams to design tailored solutions and identify new business opportunities. Operating in a fast-evolving scientific environment, you will manage the full sales cycle while contributing directly to market expansion and customer success. Accountabilities:
- Drive account growth and market expansion by developing strategic territory plans and executing value-based selling across assigned customers.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in academic, government, diagnostic, and life sciences organizations.
- Identify customer needs and translate them into tailored solutions leveraging the full portfolio of scientific and bioprocessing products.
- Collaborate with technical specialists and internal teams to design integrated solutions aligned with customer workflows.
- Manage the full sales cycle including prospecting, negotiation, pricing, contracting, and deal closure.
- Utilize CRM tools such as Salesforce to manage pipeline visibility, track customer interactions, and ensure accurate forecasting.
- Continuously monitor market trends and customer requirements to identify new growth opportunities and drive adoption of new technologies.
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Life Sciences or related scientific field.
- 5 to 6 years of experience in sales, account management, or business development within life sciences, healthcare, diagnostics, or academic/government sectors.
- Proven ability to manage complex accounts and drive revenue growth in consultative, solution-based selling environments.
- Strong understanding of scientific workflows and ability to engage with technical stakeholders effectively.
- Experience using CRM systems such as Salesforce for pipeline management and forecasting.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts for diverse audiences.
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to manage multiple stakeholders across large organizations.
