You will help define and evolve AWS and multicloud architecture standards while supporting cloud-native application development.
The role combines architecture, modernization, automation, observability, security, and cost optimization.
You will collaborate closely with development, platform engineering, security, and digital product teams.
Your work will influence technology roadmaps and help enable high availability, performance, and operational efficiency.

Accountabilities:
- Define and continuously evolve architecture standards and patterns for AWS and multicloud environments.
- Support development teams in designing scalable, resilient, and cloud-native application architectures.
- Create architecture diagrams, technical documentation, and technology evolution roadmaps.
- Promote best practices in cloud security, observability, high availability, disaster recovery, scalability, and performance.
- Contribute to cloud cost optimization and FinOps initiatives, balancing technical requirements with business efficiency.
- Establish and disseminate Infrastructure as Code (IaC) best practices across cloud environments.
- Support application migration and modernization initiatives involving AWS and other cloud platforms.
- Collaborate with Security, Platform Engineering, Digital Products, and development teams to ensure architectural alignment.
- Evaluate new AWS services and emerging technologies to support the evolution of the organization's target architecture.
- Contribute to technology decisions that improve reliability, scalability, operational efficiency, and long-term maintainability.
Requirements:
- Proven experience designing and implementing solution architectures using AWS.
- Strong knowledge of AWS services such as EC2, EKS, Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, and CloudFront.
- Experience with microservices architecture and cloud-native application design.
- Knowledge of cloud networking, including DNS, VPNs, load balancing, and cloud security principles.
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and modern software delivery practices.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes environments.
- Familiarity with observability tools such as CloudWatch, Grafana, Prometheus, or Datadog.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate architectural trade-offs and recommend practical solutions.
- Collaborative communication skills and the ability to work effectively with technical and cross-functional stakeholders.
- A proactive mindset, adaptability, strategic thinking, and a focus on continuous improvement.
- AWS certification is a plus.
- Experience with event-driven architecture is desirable.
- Knowledge of Kafka or RabbitMQ is an advantage.
- Experience with automation using Python or Go is desirable.
- Experience working in multicloud environments is a plus.
- Familiarity with Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices is an advantage.
