This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Analista de QA Tester Pleno based in Brazil.
This role is focused on building quality into the software development lifecycle from requirements through production.
You will help evolve QA practices from traditional test execution toward a modern quality engineering approach.
The position combines test strategy, BDD, automation, exploratory testing, and continuous analysis of software quality.
You will develop and maintain automated UI tests using Cypress and Cucumber while integrating them into CI/CD pipelines.
The role involves close collaboration with developers, Product Owners, UX professionals, and other stakeholders.
You will also investigate failures, improve test coverage, and identify opportunities to make automation more reliable and valuable.

Accountabilities:
- Participate in requirements analysis and refinement, identifying business rules, testing scenarios, risks, and acceptance criteria.
- Translate requirements and acceptance criteria into structured test scenarios using BDD practices.
- Define appropriate test strategies, determining which scenarios should be handled manually and which should be automated.
- Develop, maintain, and continuously improve automated UI tests using Cypress and Cucumber.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and monitor their execution and results.
- Perform exploratory and manual testing when required, particularly for new features and scenarios that are not yet covered by automation.
- Investigate test failures, identify potential root causes, and collaborate with development teams to resolve issues.
- Identify unstable, redundant, or low-value tests and continuously improve the automation suite.
- Document and track defects clearly, providing the information needed for efficient reproduction and resolution.
- Use AI-powered tools to support test scenario creation, edge-case identification, test automation, refactoring, and failure analysis.
- Collaborate closely with Developers, Product Owners, UX, and other team members to promote shared ownership of software quality.
- Share QA knowledge, techniques, and best practices while contributing to the technical evolution of the quality engineering practice.
Requirements:
- Completed higher education or a technology degree in Information Technology or a related field.
- Solid knowledge of software testing concepts, quality strategies, and the QA role throughout the development lifecycle.
- Ability to interpret requirements and acceptance criteria and transform them into effective test scenarios.
- Practical knowledge of BDD, Cucumber, and Cypress for automated UI testing.
- Knowledge of JavaScript and/or TypeScript applied to automated testing.
- Experience or familiarity with functional, regression, exploratory, and manual testing practices.
- Understanding of Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum and the role of QA within development sprints.
- Familiarity with Git and version control practices.
- Familiarity with AI tools and their application to software development and QA activities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and a continuous-improvement mindset.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and communicate technical issues clearly.
