This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Analyst – External Manufacturing Finance in India.
This role sits at the intersection of finance, manufacturing, and supply chain, offering a high-impact opportunity to support external manufacturing operations across multiple plant locations. You will play a key role in strengthening financial governance, improving cost transparency, and enabling data-driven business decisions. The position involves close collaboration with plant finance teams, procurement, and operations stakeholders. You will also contribute to strategic procurement discussions through financial modeling and scenario analysis. With strong ownership of plant-level financials, you will ensure accuracy in reporting, budgeting, and compliance processes. This is a highly autonomous role with cross-functional exposure and regular interaction with manufacturing sites. It also offers the chance to drive continuous improvement and automation in finance processes.
Accountabilities:
- Partner with plant finance, procurement, supply chain, and operations teams to monitor performance, analyze costs, and deliver actionable financial insights.
- Lead monthly closing activities, including preparation and reconciliation of financial statements and ensuring accuracy of plant-level books.
- Prepare MIS reports, dashboards, budgets, forecasts, and SAP uploads while ensuring timely and reliable financial reporting.
- Analyze cost structures, variances, scrap, yield, and productivity metrics, and support root-cause analysis with plant teams.
- Support procurement negotiations with financial models, scenario analysis, and commercial insights.
- Ensure strong internal controls, audit readiness, SOX compliance, and adherence to financial governance standards.
- Identify and implement process improvements, automation opportunities, and standardization across manufacturing sites.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Commerce, CA / CMA (Inter or qualified), or MBA Finance.
- 2–4 years of experience in plant finance, cost accounting, external manufacturing finance, or supply chain finance (FMCG experience preferred).
- Strong proficiency in SAP (preferably FICO) and advanced MS Excel, including financial modeling.
- Solid understanding of manufacturing cost structures, plant KPIs, and variance analysis.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and demonstrate high ownership.
- Continuous improvement mindset with interest in automation and process optimization.
