This role offers an opportunity to contribute directly to the development of advanced artificial intelligence systems by working on multilingual data and language-focused tasks. As an Assamese Transcriber, you will be part of a global remote workforce supporting large-scale AI training projects through accurate transcription, annotation, and content validation. The work is fully online and task-based, allowing flexibility while contributing to impactful technology initiatives. You will engage with diverse linguistic data such as audio, text, and multimedia content, ensuring high-quality inputs for AI model training. This position is well-suited for detail-oriented individuals who are passionate about language accuracy and digital content quality. It also provides exposure to cutting-edge AI workflows in a multicultural and fast-paced environment.
Accountabilities:
- Perform transcription, annotation, correction, and validation of Assamese language audio, text, and multimedia content.
- Categorize and evaluate linguistic data including sentences, words, and conversational inputs for AI training purposes.
- Ensure accuracy in Assamese and English transcription with strong attention to spelling, grammar, and context.
- Contribute to content localization, quality checks, and data labeling across various AI-driven tasks.
- Participate in voice recording, conversational interactions, and content creation activities when required.
- Review and validate datasets such as audio, video, images, and text to ensure consistency and quality.
- Follow project guidelines and maintain high standards of precision in all assigned tasks.
Requirements:
- Fluency in Assamese with the ability to listen and transcribe accurately without spelling mistakes.
- Strong proficiency in English for reading, writing, and understanding instructions.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to work with online platforms and digital tools.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to work independently in a remote, task-based environment.
- Good time management and ability to meet deadlines in a flexible workflow.
- Preferred: prior experience in transcription, annotation, or content rating tasks.
- Technical setup including a computer (minimum 4GB RAM), stable internet connection, microphone, webcam, and supported operating system (Windows 10+ or macOS 13+).
