This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Associate Staff Engineer, ERP Oracle CPQ Technical Consultant based in India.

This role is focused on delivering scalable Oracle CPQ Cloud solutions within complex enterprise environments. You will take ownership of technical implementations spanning configuration, commerce flows, pricing, approvals, document generation, and integrations. The position combines hands-on engineering with solution design, business analysis, and client-facing consulting. You will work across CRM and ERP ecosystems, using modern API and middleware integration patterns to connect enterprise applications. The role also involves troubleshooting complex issues, supporting releases, and ensuring solutions meet architecture, security, and business requirements. Collaboration with distributed global teams and mentoring junior consultants will be central to delivering high-quality outcomes.

Accountabilities:

    • Oracle CPQ Implementation & Configuration: Lead end-to-end Oracle CPQ Cloud implementations, including configuration, commerce processes, pricing models, approval workflows, document generation, and customized enterprise solutions.
    • Technical Solution Design: Translate business and functional requirements into scalable, maintainable Oracle CPQ technical solutions aligned with enterprise architecture, business rules, security requirements, and integration standards.
    • CPQ Development: Develop, optimize, and troubleshoot BML scripts, BMQL queries, XSLT-based document templates, and other Oracle CPQ customizations to support complex business requirements.
    • CRM & ERP Integrations: Design, develop, and support robust integrations between Oracle CPQ and enterprise platforms such as Salesforce, Oracle Fusion, SAP, and other CRM/ERP systems.
    • API & Middleware Architecture: Architect and implement integration solutions using REST and SOAP APIs, middleware platforms, and established enterprise integration patterns.
    • Client Consulting: Conduct workshops with business and technical stakeholders to understand processes, gather detailed requirements, identify challenges, and define appropriate technical approaches.
    • Solution Communication: Prepare and present solution designs, technical approaches, integration architectures, and implementation recommendations to both technical and business audiences.
    • Testing & Deployment: Support unit testing, system integration testing, user acceptance testing, production deployments, release management, and post-production activities to ensure reliable delivery.
    • Troubleshooting & Optimization: Investigate complex functional and technical issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement sustainable solutions that improve system performance, reliability, and maintainability.
    • Development Practices: Ensure adherence to version control, DevOps practices, release management standards, and enterprise application development and deployment processes.
    • Technical Leadership: Mentor junior consultants, provide technical direction across implementation teams, and contribute expertise to complex Oracle CPQ initiatives.
    • Knowledge Sharing: Develop technical documentation, reusable assets, implementation guidance, and best practices while contributing to internal knowledge-sharing initiatives.
    • Global Collaboration: Work effectively with cross-functional, distributed, and global teams to ensure successful delivery of enterprise Oracle CPQ solutions.
    • Requirements

      • Professional Experience: 4+ years of total professional experience, with strong experience in enterprise application consulting and hands-on Oracle CPQ Cloud implementations.
      • Oracle CPQ Expertise: Strong hands-on knowledge of Oracle CPQ configuration modules, BML, BMQL, XSLT, commerce processes, pricing logic, approval workflows, and document generation.
      • Quote-to-Cash Knowledge: Strong understanding of Quote-to-Cash processes, pricing models, commerce flows, business rules, and approval mechanisms.
      • Integration Experience: Proven experience integrating Oracle CPQ with CRM and ERP platforms such as Salesforce, Oracle Fusion, SAP, or comparable enterprise applications.
      • API & Middleware Skills: Strong understanding of REST and SOAP APIs and experience with middleware-based integration patterns and enterprise application connectivity.
      • Troubleshooting: Demonstrated ability to optimize BML scripts, BMQL queries, and XSLT document templates, as well as diagnose and resolve complex functional and technical issues.
      • Delivery Lifecycle: Experience supporting unit testing, system integration testing, UAT, production deployments, post-production support, and release management.
      • DevOps & Version Control: Familiarity with version control systems, DevOps practices, enterprise development methodologies, and application deployment processes.
      • Consulting & Communication: Excellent communication, presentation, analytical, and client-facing skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly to diverse stakeholders.
      • Workshop Facilitation: Ability to lead client workshops, gather requirements, understand business processes, and translate business needs into practical technical solutions.
      • Collaboration: Comfortable working with cross-functional, distributed, and global teams in a dynamic consulting environment.
      • Education: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline.
      • Certification: Oracle CPQ certification is an added advantage.
      • Leadership Mindset: Ability to mentor junior team members, provide technical guidance, take ownership of deliverables, and contribute to shared technical standards and best practices.
