Accountabilities:

The Assurance - Climate Change and Sustainability Services professional will support clients in managing climate risks, sustainability initiatives, and assurance-related engagements. This role requires strong analytical capabilities, business understanding, and the ability to translate complex sustainability challenges into practical solutions.

• Contribute to climate risk management projects, including the development of physical and transition risk assessment processes, methodologies, and models.
• Analyze the impact of climate risks on financial and business risk areas.
• Review climate stress scenarios, risk drivers, policies, and frameworks related to climate risk management.
• Assess strategic, operational, financial, and risk implications of sustainability trends and translate findings into actionable business insights.
• Support clients in developing climate risk management processes, policies, governance structures, and enterprise risk integration approaches.
• Collaborate with clients to identify needs, support engagement development, and contribute to technical reports and proposals.
• Manage complex technical topics within the sustainability and risk management domain.
• Apply knowledge of relevant regulations, standards, and industry practices related to climate change and sustainability.
• Work closely with internal teams and client stakeholders to deliver high-quality advisory and assurance outcomes.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate is a motivated sustainability and risk professional with strong analytical skills and an interest in helping organizations navigate climate-related challenges. You should be comfortable working with complex data, developing insights, and communicating recommendations to different audiences.

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Financial Engineering, Risk Management, Statistics, Actuarial Science, Analytics, or another STEM-related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in risk management, credit risk, statistical modeling, climate risk modeling, banking risk management, or related areas.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with the capacity to interpret complex information.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with SAS, R, Python, SQL, or similar analytical tools is an advantage.
• Exposure to ESG reporting, sustainability reporting, or regulatory reporting is preferred.
• Experience designing or implementing ESG-related initiatives is a plus.
• Ability to engage effectively with senior stakeholders and contribute to client-facing discussions.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage priorities in a fast-changing environment.
• Collaborative mindset with the ability to contribute to innovative, team-oriented projects.
