This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a B2B Social Media & Events Manager based in United States.
This is a hands-on marketing role focused on growing visibility and credibility with finance and operations professionals.
You will own social media strategy and execution while helping shape an impactful B2B events program.
The role combines strategic planning with consistent content creation across video, social posts, explainers, infographics, and event coverage.
You’ll translate complex business and technology topics into engaging content that resonates with a professional audience.
As a visible brand representative, you’ll participate in industry communities, attend conferences, conduct interviews, and create content from the field.
The ideal candidate is a confident creator who is comfortable on camera, highly self-directed, and thoughtful about using AI to accelerate production.
This is a fully remote U.S. opportunity with occasional travel to industry events as the program expands.
Accountabilities
- Own the social media strategy and execution, establishing a consistent publishing cadence and growing an engaged B2B audience across finance and operations communities.
- Develop content that builds brand awareness, credibility, and trust among controllers, project managers, finance leaders, operations professionals, and related audiences.
- Create engaging short-form videos, social posts, carousels, infographics, product explainers, event recaps, interviews, and other content formats.
- Help shape the events strategy by identifying relevant conferences and determining where participation can generate the greatest audience and business impact.
- Provide live event coverage, conduct interviews, represent the brand professionally onsite, and transform event experiences into compelling follow-up content.
- Participate authentically in relevant professional communities, including LinkedIn, industry forums, and appropriate online discussion groups.
- Use AI tools strategically to increase content production efficiency while applying strong editorial judgment and maintaining quality.
- Serve as a recognizable and credible public representative across digital channels and industry events.
- Monitor audience engagement and content performance to identify opportunities for improvement and inform future social and event strategies.
- 3+ years of experience in B2B social media, content marketing, professional-audience content creation, or a comparable creator-focused role.
- Demonstrated success growing a LinkedIn presence or other B2B social channel through meaningful audience engagement.
- Proven experience creating content around events, including live coverage, interviews, conference representation, and post-event recaps.
- Comfortable appearing on camera and representing a brand publicly, both online and at professional events.
- Strong ability to understand complex business, finance, operations, or technology topics and turn them into clear, engaging, accessible content.
- Practical experience using AI tools as part of a modern content-production workflow, with the editorial judgment to recognize when AI-generated output requires improvement.
- Strong communication, storytelling, creativity, and audience-development skills.
- Ability to build credibility and trust with professional audiences; experience creating content for finance, accounting, FP&A, or enterprise SaaS audiences is a strong plus.
- Self-directed and comfortable owning projects from strategy through execution without extensive supervision.
- Willingness to travel approximately 2–6 times per year for conferences and other events as the program grows.
- Annual salary range of $80,000–$110,000.
