As a BI Developer, you will play a pivotal role in transforming data into actionable insights that drive business decisions. You will design, develop, and maintain enterprise and departmental business intelligence solutions, including ETL processes, data warehouses, and interactive dashboards. Collaborating with stakeholders across the organization, you will ensure data integrity, deliver high-quality analytical reports, and support strategic initiatives. The role offers a blend of technical development, problem-solving, and business collaboration, with the opportunity to work in a dynamic, data-driven environment. Remote work is supported, with occasional on-site requirements. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with strong analytical skills and a passion for leveraging data to improve business outcomes.
Accountabilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain BI applications, data warehouses, and ETL pipelines.
- Create and manage reports and dashboards using tools such as Power BI, SSRS, or Tableau.
- Collaborate with business and IT teams to gather requirements and deliver actionable BI solutions.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity through thorough testing and validation procedures.
- Build key performance indicators and metrics to support business decision-making.
- Develop end-to-end analytical solutions to meet complex business requirements.
- Stay current with emerging BI technologies and recommend improvements to existing systems.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in BI development, including ETL, data warehousing, and data modeling.
- Proficiency in BI and reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, SSRS, SSIS, and SSAS.
- Strong SQL skills (T-SQL, PL/SQL) and experience with relational and multidimensional databases.
- Experience with Azure data warehouse, Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and cloud-based BI solutions.
- Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills to translate data into business insights.
- Database or Data Warehouse certifications are a plus.
