Accountabilities
- Lead and manage the DevOps team, prioritizing performance and accountability across cloud functions.
- Define and enforce DevSecOps standards integrating automation, security, and compliance.
- Optimize cloud infrastructure across AWS, GovCloud, and Azure for uptime and cost-effectiveness.
- Collaborate with Application Development to ensure effective tool and environment setups.
- Serve as senior escalation for complex infrastructure incidents, resolving issues proactively.
- Build a reliable and independent team capable of sustained performance without over-reliance on individual efforts.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in DevOps, infrastructure, or cloud engineering, with 3+ years in a management role.
- 5-10+ years of hands-on cloud experience building and operating infrastructure.
- Experience in regulated environments like NIST, CJIS, or FedRAMP including compliance readiness.
- Expertise in automation and Infrastructure as Code practices using modern frameworks.
- Strong technical background in Linux administration and databases like MS-SQL or PostgreSQL.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD, monitoring, and vulnerability management tools.
- Leadership skills to translate strategy into clear priorities and measurable outcomes.
- Proactive and resourceful mindset, thriving in collaborative environments.
