This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Communications Sustainment Analyst. This role is crucial for maintaining effective communication during the sustainment phase of the VA Electronic Health Record modernization. By collaborating with various stakeholders, including deployment sites and leadership, the analyst will play a pivotal role in ensuring operational continuity and stakeholder alignment. The impact of this position extends to effectively managing change communications, enhancing the user experience, and shaping the future of health IT services for veterans. Accountabilities
- Lead and coordinate sustainment communications for VA sites, including EHR system alerts, newsletters, and SharePoint content.
- Support the transition from deployment to sustainment, ensuring sites are prepared for long-term management.
- Collaborate with VA, Oracle Health, and site communications teams to align messages with EHRM-IO objectives.
- Facilitate meetings, manage action items, and report on communications metrics.
- Support briefings and respond to inquiries from VA leadership, Congressional stakeholders, and media.
- Define, document, and refine sustainment communications processes and provide feedback on deliverables.
- Manage weekly Joint Sustainment and Adoption Advisory Board (JSAAB) notifications and ad hoc communications requests.
Requirements
- Experience with project life cycle management, change management, or enterprise communications.
- Strong stakeholder communication and risk management skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or 10+ years of equivalent experience.
- Preferred: VA or EHR system experience, federal IT communications, and sustainment support.
