Accountabilities:
The Compensation Program Manager will lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of compensation programs that support business growth and employee success. This role requires strong analytical capabilities, strategic thinking, and the ability to collaborate with stakeholders across the organization.
- Lead compensation programs and projects that strengthen People infrastructure, including job architecture and compensation frameworks.
- Support annual and mid-year compensation planning cycles by advising People Business Partners and leadership teams.
- Design, implement, and manage compensation programs, including salary structures, incentive plans, and equity-related programs.
- Conduct job evaluations, market pricing analyses, and compensation reviews to maintain internal equity and external competitiveness.
- Partner with leadership and HR teams to resolve complex compensation matters and provide data-driven recommendations.
- Create compensation resources, training materials, and communication strategies to help managers and employees understand compensation practices.
- Guide calibration sessions and support compensation decision-making through insights and analysis.
- Develop and improve compensation processes, tools, and workflows to increase efficiency and scalability.
- Collaborate with People Operations, Talent, Payroll, Legal, Finance, Accounting, and external vendors to ensure effective program delivery.
- Support change management initiatives related to compensation policies, practices, and organizational growth.
- Manage multiple compensation projects while maintaining strong operational execution and attention to detail.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate is an experienced compensation professional with a strong understanding of modern compensation practices, job architecture, and market analytics. They should be comfortable working with senior stakeholders, translating complex data into actionable insights, and operating in a fast-paced growth environment.
- 6+ years of experience working in compensation-focused roles.
- Experience developing and managing job architecture, leveling frameworks, and compensation structures.
- Strong knowledge of compensation benchmarking, market analysis, and pay equity principles.
- Experience partnering with internal stakeholders, business leaders, and executive teams.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret compensation data and provide strategic recommendations.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize effectively, and deliver results in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate, influence, and mentor stakeholders on compensation strategies.
- Experience supporting compensation programs within a high-growth or scaling organization preferred.
- Experience with compensation initiatives related to mergers and acquisitions, IPO readiness, or equity programs is a plus.
- Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export-controlled information or facilities.
