As a DevOps Engineer II, you will play a critical role in building, maintaining, and automating infrastructure and deployment pipelines across cloud and on-premises environments. You will collaborate closely with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure reliable, scalable, and secure systems. This role emphasizes hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, cloud platforms, containerization, and Infrastructure-as-Code. You will monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement automation to improve operational efficiency. The position offers opportunities to influence best practices, drive innovation in infrastructure management, and contribute to the overall reliability of critical applications. You will operate in a fast-paced, collaborative, and technology-forward environment, with the autonomy to own and improve processes that impact the business.
Accountabilities:
- Manage, enhance, and optimize CI/CD pipelines for building, testing, and deploying applications
- Maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS and/or Azure, ensuring scalability and reliability
- Implement Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform to automate deployments
- Support containerized environments and orchestration with Docker and Kubernetes
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure, deployment, and pipeline issues
- Configure and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting systems (Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, Application Insights)
- Automate operational and repetitive tasks using PowerShell, Bash, or Python
- Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to implement DevOps best practices and improve system reliability
- Participate in on-call rotations as required to ensure system uptime
Requirements:
- 3–5 years of DevOps experience in cloud and enterprise environments
- Proficiency with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, and YAML-based pipelines
- Strong scripting skills in Bash, PowerShell, or Python
- Hands-on experience with AWS and/or Azure cloud platforms
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes or Rancher
- Understanding of networking fundamentals including DNS, load balancing, and firewalls
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Splunk, Prometheus, or Grafana
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
- Experience with Git version control and working in both Windows and Linux environments
- Preferred: experience with configuration management tools, knowledge of security best practices, familiarity with MSSQL or CosmosDB
