We are looking for an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join our crane engineering team. The role involves designing, reviewing, and validating electrical systems for EOT cranes, wire rope hoists, chain hoists, jib cranes, and other material handling equipment while ensuring compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop electrical systems and control solutions for crane products.
- Prepare and validate:
- Single Line Diagrams (SLDs)
- Electrical Schematics
- Panel Layouts
- BOMs
- Cable Lists & Routing Drawings
- Perform LV switchgear selection, cable sizing, and design verification.
- Review customer specifications and ensure compliance with FEM, EN, and applicable standards.
- Verify engineering drawings and technical documentation before release.
- Provide technical support to production, service teams, customers, and project stakeholders.
- Collaborate with global engineering, mechanical, manufacturing, procurement, and project teams.
- Drive design optimization, continuous improvement, and quality compliance initiatives.
The role is based in our office in SP Infocity, Pune – but it goes without saying that the remote & hybrid working is a part of our modern ways of working.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Educational Qualification
- B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering
Experience
- 5–10 years of experience in industrial products, heavy machinery, cranes, hoists, or material handling equipment.
Technical Skills
- Electrical Design Engineering

- Cable Sizing & Selection
- Industrial Control Systems
- Electrical Schematics & Documentation
- Crane systems (EOT Cranes, Wire Rope Hoists, Chain Hoists, Jib Cranes)
- Software: Zuken E3-CAD, ECS-CAD, EPLAN, SAP, Teamcenter
- Knowledge of FEM, EN, and related crane standards
Desired Competencies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Excellent communication in English
- Ability to work in global teams
- German language skills are a plus
- Flexible and willing to travel internationally
