Kraken is seeking a Sr. Experiential & Events Specialist with a focus on VIP client events and premium experiences to join our team. Working closely with the Head of Experiences and Events and the VP of Public Relations and Communications, you will lead the strategy, planning, and execution of high-touch, invite-only events designed to deepen relationships with Kraken’s most valued clients, partners, and stakeholders.
In this role, you will own the end-to-end delivery of bespoke VIP experiences, including private events, exclusive hospitality programs, executive dinners, curated activations, and premium conference engagements. You will collaborate cross-functionally with PR & Comms, Marketing, Brand, Social, Growth, Creative, Managed Accounts, Product, and other teams to ensure all VIP engagements align with Kraken’s brand, business objectives, and client relationship strategy. You will also oversee hospitality management and execution across all VIP touchpoints.
The ideal candidate is a highly organized, detail-oriented professional with exceptional judgment, discretion, and interpersonal skills. You are comfortable operating in fast-paced environments, balancing strategic planning with hands-on execution, and delivering seamless, elevated experiences under tight timelines.
This is a full-time, remote position reporting to the Head of Experiences and Events.
Partner with the Head of Experiences & Events and senior leadership to define, evolve, and execute Kraken’s VIP events and experiences strategy across in-person and virtual
Develop and manage exclusive, high-touch VIP events, such as executive dinners, private client experiences, premium hospitality programs, and invite-only activations
Logistics and execution for VIP participation at conferences, sponsored events, and brand partnerships, ensuring a white-glove experience from invitation through follow-up
Align Kraken’s business priorities, key messages, and relationship goals across all VIP experiences and engagements
Coordinate pre-event outreach, guest list management, invitations, and personalized communications, as well as on-site hosting and post-event follow-up
Collaborate with Marketing, Brand, Creative, and Managed Accounts teams to develop bespoke event assets, run-of-show materials, and tailored client communications
Direct and manage premium hospitality programs, including travel, accommodations, gifting, access credentials, and concierge-level on-site support
Support the creation of post-event content and internal recaps to extend the impact of VIP experiences across internal and external channels
Assist in the creative development of VIP event concepts, including branding, agenda curation, venue sourcing, and experience design
Own vendor and partner relationships, negotiating contracts and managing high-end vendors, venues, and agencies to ensure best-in-class execution
Help manage VIP event budgets, including forecasting, tracking, and cost optimization without compromising experience quality
Define success metrics and evaluate the effectiveness of VIP events through qualitative insights, engagement data, and business impact reporting
Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned
5+ years of experiential, VIP, or high-touch event management experience, including virtual and in-person events; fintech or digital assets experience preferred
Proven experience leading complex, premium events with senior executives, high-value clients, and strategic partners
Strong strategic mindset with the ability to connect events and experiences to broader business, brand, and relationship objectives
Deep experience working across all aspects of the marketing lifecycle, including branding, positioning, messaging, communications, and demand support
Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills, with confidence operating at the executive level
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple high-priority initiatives simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and influence without direct authority
Experience thriving in high-growth, rapidly evolving environments with the ability to pivot quickly as priorities shift
Strong command of organizational tools, event platforms, and project management systems, with the ability to quickly adopt new technologies
