Material Bank is the world’s largest material marketplace for the architecture and design industry. Operating in 37 countries, our platform has become the standard for design professionals around the globe. Every day, Material Bank connects thousands of designers with tens of thousands of materials from leading brands. Material Bank is the fastest and most powerful way for design professionals to search, sample, and specify materials.
As Sr. Manager, DevOps, you will play a critical role in enabling Material Bank’s continued growth by owning the reliability, scalability, and performance of the systems every team depends on. As our catalog of products, materials, and digital assets continues to expand, this role ensures we have a secure, resilient, and future ready cloud foundation that supports rapid innovation while protecting trust and uptime. You will be the single threaded owner of our AWS infrastructure strategy, bringing strong technical judgment to how we scale, optimize, and evolve our platform in partnership with engineering and product leaders.
This is a senior leadership role for someone who blends deep technical expertise with a strong sense of ownership and operational rigor. You understand what it takes to run highly available systems at scale, and you are comfortable moving between architecture decisions, hands on problem solving, and people leadership. You will lead a high impact global team across Site Reliability, DevOps, and AWS Infrastructure, coaching engineers, setting technical direction, and rolling up your sleeves when needed to ensure performance, reliability, and speed remain uncompromised as the business grows.
