Senior Data Analyst (Customer Analytics)

Maven Clinic is looking for a Strategic and customer-focused Senior Data Analyst specializing in Customer Analytics. Dedicated to helping Maven Clinic’s customers understand, measure, and amplify clinical and business value through data. Experienced in developing scalable analytics solutions, aligning cross-functional stakeholders, and turning data into actionable insights that drive client outcomes and strengthen long-term partnerships. Adept at combining analytical rigor with business storytelling to highlight Maven’s impact across cost savings, member engagement, and clinical effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities & Achievements

• Customer-Facing Analytics & Value Demonstration:
  Partner with Client Success and Commercial teams to build and deliver data-driven narratives that highlight Maven’s measurable impact on clinical outcomes, cost reduction, and employee well-being for enterprise clients.
• Actionable Insights for Stakeholders:
  Design interactive dashboards and scalable reporting frameworks (SQL, Tableau, Looker, DBT) that empower customer facing teams to independently track utilization, engagement, and ROI metrics aligned with their organizational goals.
• Scalable Solutions & Automation:
  Architect data sources and reusable reporting models that enable efficient delivery of analytics at scale across dozens of enterprise customers, improving turnaround time and consistency of insights.
• Cross-Functional Alignment & Project Leadership:
  Lead analytics initiatives that require collaboration across Client Success, Finance, Sales, and Engineering, ensuring alignment on business objectives, project milestones, and data definitions. Overall ownership of deliverables.
• Process Improvement & Efficiency:
  Identify opportunities to streamline data workflows and reporting processes, implementing scalable automation and documentation practices to increase reliability and transparency for customer deliverables.
• Storytelling & Communication:
  Translate complex data into clear, outcome-oriented insights that resonate with customer executives and HR/benefits leaders, reinforcing Maven’s role as a strategic partner.
• Innovation & Emerging Tools:
  Support adoption automation tools (such as Matik) to scale client reporting and standardize storytelling of clinical and business outcomes across customer portfolios.
  
  

Minimum Qualifications

• 5-7 years of relevant analytics or data science experience
• Fluency in SQL and a strong background in data visualization
• An ability to juggle both long-term, strategic projects and ad hoc, urgent requests as needed
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and mentor junior analysts

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with value/ROI/clinical outcomes storytelling (strong preference)
• Experience with Matik or similar dynamic content creation systems
• Experience with at least one primary visualization tool (Looker, Tableau), and/or DBT

The base salary range for this role is $166,000 - $195,000 per year. You will also be entitled to receive equity and benefits. Individual pay decisions are based on a number of factors, including qualifications for the role, experience level, and skillset.

Maven embraces a flexible hybrid work model. Our teams primarily operate from the New York Metropolitan area, NY, San Francisco/Bay Area, CA, Seattle, WA, Boston, MA, Chicago, IL, and Washington, D.C. For those in our New York City office, we encourage in-person collaboration by requiring team members to work onsite three days a week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday). For those based in San Francisco/Bay Area, CA, Seattle, WA, Boston, MA, Chicago, IL, and Washington, D.C., we encourage in-person collaboration by requiring team members to attend quarterly Work Together Days within these cities. This policy aims to balance remote work flexibility with the benefits of face-to-face interaction.
