As a Candidate Experience Specialist, you’ll be the face of NBCU for prospective talent, ensuring every interaction is seamless, professional, and memorable. In this role, you’ll serve as both a trusted advisor and a hands-on executor—providing consultative guidance to recruiters and hiring teams while confidently taking action within established processes to deliver an exceptional interview and candidate experience. What You’ll Do
- Deliver Exceptional Candidate Experiences:
- Serve as the primary strategic partner for hiring teams; you’ll have ownership over the end‑to‑end candidate interview journey and be the primary point of contact for candidates
- You’ll independently shape communication approaches, set clear expectations, and ensure every interaction reflects NBCU’s commitment to transparency, professionalism, and brand alignment.
- Interview Logistics:
- Architect interview processes across time zones and platforms, determining the ideal structure, sequencing, and format (panel, 1:1, virtual, onsite).
- Provide informed recommendations to guide hiring teams and secure alignment on the optimal plan before execution.
- Secure and prepare onsite spaces that ensure a welcome environment.
- Manage Travel & Onsite Details:
- Oversee and direct the full candidate travel and onsite experience, designing itineraries that anticipate potential challenges and proactively solving issues before they arise.
- Manage all onsite elements from technology readiness to hospitality, to deliver a polished, stress‑free experience end‑to‑end.
- Partner Across Teams:
- Serve as a trusted advisor to recruiters, hiring managers, and interviewers, offering perspective on best practices, accessibility considerations, and candidate engagement strategies.
- Lead alignment across stakeholders and intervene to resolve conflicts with a solutions‑first mindset.
- Champion Process Excellence:
- Uphold confidentiality and compliance standards.
- Communicate and maintain clear process guidelines and escalation paths that enable candidate care issues to be resolved confidently and consistently.
What You’ll Bring
- Experience: 3+ years in talent acquisition, guest relations, or similar role within Human Resources or Hospitality.
- Ability to make autonomous, well-informed decisions based on established processes and protocols
- Strong situational awareness and intuitive problem-solving skills
- Ability to navigate ambiguous situations with confidence
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in scheduling tools, Microsoft Office Suite; ATS experience preferred.
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Additional Requirements:
- Hybrid: This position currently has a hybrid schedule, which requires contributing from the office a minimum of four days per week. The Company reserves the right to change in-office requirements at any time.
