Our most exciting clients, US-based startup seeking a Senior Video Editor with expertise in editing reality-style or unscripted multi-cam footage. This is a dynamic role that involves working collaboratively with a team to produce high-quality content, with the potential for team management responsibilities as we scale.
Key Responsibilities:
- Edit multi-cam footage with separate sound to create engaging, polished videos.
- Collaborate with the team to release more than one video per week.
- Manage and mentor junior editors as needed, ensuring consistent quality and meeting deadlines.
- Work with unscripted, freestyle content to create compelling narratives and maintain viewer engagement.
- Conduct trial edits to demonstrate proficiency and alignment with our creative vision.
Requirements
- Proven experience in video editing, preferably with reality or unscripted multi-cam content.
- Proficiency in editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro).
- Strong storytelling skills with the ability to craft engaging narratives from unscripted footage.
- Familiarity with sound syncing and audio post-production.
- Experience working in a team environment; prior team management experience is a plus but not required.
- Comfortable working in a startup environment with flexible schedules and overlapping hours with a US-based team.
