We’re hiring a Developer Relations leader to represent Promptfoo to the developer community and bring the developer voice into the company. You’ll own developer education, build a strong community, and help teams ship safer AI features with confidence. You’ll work closely with Product and Engineering to turn real developer feedback into better product and clearer messaging. Be the public face of Promptfoo for developers.
Manage the editorial calendar and publish every week
Create tutorials, deep dives, quick-start videos, and release explainers
Write step-by-step guides using real configs, datasets, and results
Record clear, 2 to 5 minute demo videos featuring simple diagrams and screenshots
Be active in Discord, unblocking users and turning FAQs into documentation and examples
Share concise, practical tips on LinkedIn and X
Host webinars, office hours, and Bay Area workshops
Improve documentation structure and reference pages
Keep examples up to date as providers and features evolve
Reduce friction in install, configuration, and CI setup
Build small, well-documented sample apps
Demonstrate modern patterns for retrieval, agents, guardrails, and test data
Track new frameworks and model APIs, publishing examples quickly
Distill user feedback into clear issues and actionable proposals
Validate fixes directly with users and close the feedback loop publicly
5+ years in developer-facing roles: Developer Advocate, Software Engineer, Solutions or Field Engineer, or Technical Writer
Strong Python or TypeScript skills; able to build clean, minimal demos
Portfolio of guides, talks, videos, or documentation
Clear, concise communicator; comfortable live and on camera
High agency: you plan, ship weekly, and iterate from data
Proficiency using Promptfoo
