Blocks.ai is a new initiative being built by PubNub, a global technology company with more than 15 years of experience powering real-time applications and digital experiences.

The Blocks team operates with the pace, ownership, and experimentation of an early-stage product while benefiting from PubNub’s proven global infrastructure, engineering expertise, and established company foundation. This role is part of PubNub and will be dedicated to building developer awareness, adoption, and community for Blocks Network.

Blocks.ai is the secure network for the Internet of Agents. We solve what happens after someone builds an AI agent: helping them make it reachable, discoverable, useful, and commercially viable without taking on a new infrastructure project. An agent stays wherever its developer chooses to run it and connects to Blocks Network through a single outbound connection, no inbound ports, static IP, DNS, or firewall configuration required. Blocks.ai handles the routing, discovery, presence, streaming, security, and economics between agents and the people, applications, and other agents that need them. Our open-source Python and TypeScript SDKs are built on PubNub’s proven global real-time infrastructure, combining the speed and accessibility of a developer-first platform with technology trusted in production for more than 15 years.

About the Role

Blocks Network is looking for a Developer Marketing Manager to help individual developers discover, understand, and adopt our platform, with an initial focus on builders creating AI applications and agents. You will turn product capabilities into useful, credible stories and campaigns that meet developers where they learn, build, and share. Working closely with Product, Growth, and a dedicated Developer Relations partner, you will grow an active developer community and improve the journey from first touch to first successful build. Success means attracting the right developers, earning their trust, and measurably increasing activation, engagement, and advocacy across the Blocks Network ecosystem. This is a remote role for candidates based in the UK or Europe.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and execute developer marketing programmes that drive awareness, acquisition, activation, and ongoing engagement for Blocks Network.
• Develop clear positioning and messaging for AI application and agent developers, translating technical capabilities into relevant developer outcomes without losing accuracy or credibility.
• Build an authentic presence in the communities where our audience learns and collaborates, listening to developers, joining technical conversations, and turning feedback into actionable insights.
• Partner with Developer Relations to create and distribute tutorials, demos, sample projects, launch content, workshops, and other technical assets; independently prototype lightweight assets when useful.
• Plan campaigns and content across developer channels such as documentation, newsletters, social platforms, community forums, events, partnerships, and relevant third-party ecosystems.
• Improve the developer journey from discovery through first successful build, using qualitative feedback and funnel data to identify friction and test ways to increase activation.
• Define and report on meaningful measures—including qualified developer acquisition, activation, community engagement, retention, and advocacy—and use the findings to prioritise future work.

About You

Hands-on experience in developer marketing, technical marketing, developer relations, product marketing for a technical product, or a closely related role.

• Strong technical fluency: you can understand APIs, SDKs, AI development workflows, and code examples well enough to communicate accurately and participate credibly in developer communities.
• A track record of creating and distributing technical content or campaigns that moved developers from awareness to hands-on product use.
• Strong track record of using quantitative analytics and experimentation frameworks to drive growth and improve performance across the developer funnel.
• A community-minded, collaborative approach. You listen well, contribute with authenticity, and are comfortable working across Product, Growth, Engineering, and Developer Relations.

Additional Requirements

• Familiarity with AI application development, agents, LLM tooling, or adjacent developer ecosystems.
• Ability to use AI-assisted development tools to prototype simple demos, landing-page experiences, examples, or other technical marketing assets.
