YOUR IMPACT
As the Technical Social Influence and Advocacy Manager, you will be Redwood’s public technical voice in the market, actively participating in and shaping conversations around service orchestration, automation and AI-driven workflows.
This is not a content distribution role. You will be doing more than posting, moderating and executing social campaigns. You will engage directly with practitioners, architects, engineers and automation ecosystem experts across LinkedIn, YouTube, Reddit, Quora and other technical communities—asking smart questions, offering informed perspectives and elevating Redwood’s point of view in real-time discussions.
You will strengthen Redwood’s credibility and discoverability across modern AI-indexed search ecosystems by ensuring our expertise is referenced, debated and cited where technical audiences and AI engines look for answers. Your work will influence brand trust, thought leadership authority and pipeline by embedding Redwood into the conversations that shape buying decisions.
Social strategy and community presence
- Lead Redwood’s active participation across LinkedIn, YouTube, Reddit, Quora and relevant technical communities—not just publishing content, but engaging in ongoing discussions around orchestration, automation architectures, SAP modernization and AI-driven operations.
- Develop and manage a YouTube strategy focused on technical storytelling (explainers, architecture walkthroughs, expert conversations, AMAs), partnering with Product Marketing, Solution Engineering and Product leaders.
- Tailor engagement approaches by platform to meet technical audiences where they are—commenting on threads, answering questions, hosting AMAs and joining debates rather than broadcasting from the sidelines.
- Align social and community engagement with GTM priorities, product launches and pipeline motions, while maintaining credibility with deeply technical audiences.
- Seed and personally participate in SAP community discussions—especially around PI/PO migration, integration and orchestration—positioning RunMyJobs and JSCAPE as modern, SAP-endorsed alternatives.
- Build a localized engagement strategy for DACH, partnering with regional advocates and SAP-focused technical communities.
Advocacy and influencer relations
- Establish yourself as a credible, visible voice in public conversations around service orchestration, automation and AI-driven workflows—actively contributing perspectives, engaging in debates and building a personal point of view aligned with Redwood’s narrative.
- Activate and collaborate with other Redwood experts—especially Solution Engineers, Product Managers and ELT members—to orchestrate multi-voice participation across technical communities, rather than relying on a single brand account.
- Build peer relationships with practitioners, architects, SAP community leaders and respected technical influencers to co-create conversations, content, AMAs and live formats, elevating both your voice and the broader Redwood ecosystem.
- Identify opportunities for joint visibility (panels, podcasts, comment threads, YouTube collaborations) that reinforce Redwood’s authority while maintaining authentic, practitioner-first credibility.
AI search optimization
- Partner with SEO, Content and Product Marketing to position Redwood’s expertise in locations where AI engines source insights (YouTube, Reddit, Quora, Stack Overflow, Medium and industry forums).
- Seed and sustain high-signal, practitioner-level conversations in public and semi-public communities so Redwood’s insights are frequently referenced by both humans and AI systems.
- Identify emerging technical discussions (e.g., AI orchestration patterns, event-driven automation, SAP + AI workflows) and proactively join or initiate them with informed perspectives.
- Collaborate with Content and Web teams to optimize metadata, structure and interlinking for AI discovery, snippet retrieval and topic authority.
- Track and report new indicators of success—AI search share of voice, inclusion in AI-generated results and content visibility across LLM-indexed ecosystems.
- Reinforce Redwood’s SAP Endorsed App authority across public conversations and ensure certification is consistently cited.
Community insights and feedback loop
- Monitor sentiment, audience discussions and engagement patterns to inform GTM messaging, Product insights and content priorities.
- Identify high-performing conversations suitable for amplification through Paid, Web, or influencer channels.
- Track conversations across YouTube comments, finance ops communities, DevOps groups and cloud-focused forums to shape future positioning and narrative direction.
- Surface insights from community conversations to inform Product, Solution Engineering and GTM teams, acting as a real-time feedback loop between the market and Redwood.
Success metrics
- Growth in social engagement, share of voice, employee advocacy participation, influencer reach, AI search visibility and conversation inclusion.
- Inclusion of Redwood perspectives in peer-to-peer technical discussions, influencer commentary and AI-generated answers related to orchestration, automation and SAP modernization.
YOUR EXPERIENCE
- 5+ years engaging technical audiences in B2B SaaS or enterprise technology—ideally with experience in solution engineering, product management or technical product marketing.
- Demonstrated ability to participate credibly in technical conversations (automation, orchestration, AI workflows, SAP, cloud operations), not just summarize them.
- Strong understanding of how authority is built in AI-indexed environments (YouTube, Reddit, Quora, Stack Overflow)—and a willingness to engage directly in those spaces.
- Experience partnering closely with Product, Solution Engineering or Architecture teams to translate complex concepts into clear, opinionated perspectives.
- Comfort debating ideas, asking smart questions and responding thoughtfully in public forums.
- Familiarity with SAP ecosystems, integration or SAP modernization narratives (strongly preferred).
- Strong writing and storytelling skills, with the ability to move between technical depth and executive-level clarity.
- Analytical mindset with experience interpreting engagement patterns and conversation quality—not just clicks.
- Thrives in fast-moving GTM environments and is energized by ambiguity and emerging technologies (especially AI-driven automation).
- Must be able to work ET or CT hours.
If you like growth and working with happy, enthusiastic over-achievers, you'll enjoy your career with us!
