Job Overview
We are seeking a results-driven Social Media Manager to take full ownership of social media growth for a newly launched product. This is a critical, immediate hire for a UK-based business that needs measurable traction, not surface-level activity.
This role is not about posting for the sake of posting. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving real audience growth, engagement, and traffic to the product through high-impact content and consistent execution. You will work in a fast-moving startup environment with clear performance expectations and the autonomy to deliver results.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and execute the social media strategy with a clear focus on growth, engagement, and traffic generation
- Create and publish high-volume, attention-grabbing content designed to stop the scroll and drive interaction
- Turn social engagement into measurable traffic to the product or landing pages
- Analyse performance metrics and adjust content strategies to maximise traction
- Lead social media activity for product launches and scaling initiatives
- Stay hands-on with daily execution — ideation, creation, posting, testing, and optimisation
- Identify what works quickly and double down, without waiting for direction or approval loops
- Operate with accountability against clear KPIs and performance benchmarks
Qualifications and Experience
- Proven experience generating measurable social media growth and engagement
- Demonstrated success in launching or scaling a product via social media
- Strong content creation skills focused on impact and conversion, not just aesthetics
- Experience driving traffic from social platforms to websites or landing pages
- Ability to maintain consistent, high-output content production
- Comfortable working in a startup environment with pace, accountability, and high expectations
