Our client is a growing consumer brand seeking a highly organized and creative Social Media & Community Coordinator to manage the day-to-day execution of its social media presence while building meaningful relationships with customers, creators, and the broader online community. The company values premium brand storytelling, authentic engagement, and data-driven content strategies that strengthen brand awareness and community growth.
As the Social Media & Community Coordinator, you will own the execution of the company's social media calendar, oversee content publishing across multiple platforms, engage with the online community, and support creator initiatives. You'll collaborate closely with Creative and Partnerships teams to adapt content, monitor performance, and ensure every interaction reflects the brand's voice and values.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys combining content execution, community management, creative collaboration, and social media strategy in a fast-paced environment.
Fully Remote | 10 AM–6 PM Pacific Time, with 1 hour of flexibility.
Mondays: Plan and create content.
Platforms: Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn.
Create visuals in Figma.
Fridays: Review content and performance.
Create short-form videos using CapCut.
Content will include images of headsets and earphones, as well as short-form videos for TikTok.
Act as the first line of communication on social media.
Respond to comments in a funny, engaging, and respectful way.
Handle basic customer-service-related questions, such as explaining shipping processes and other customer inquiries.
Own and maintain the weekly social media content calendar across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X, LinkedIn, and Facebook.
Collaborate with Creative and Partnerships teams to plan upcoming campaigns and content initiatives.
Bring platform-specific content ideas, trends, and storytelling recommendations to planning meetings.
Ensure content progresses smoothly from concept through approval and publication.
Follow up with internal stakeholders to secure assets, approvals, and feedback on schedule.
Publish content across all social media platforms while ensuring accuracy, consistency, and brand alignment.
Adapt existing creative assets for different channels, formats, and audiences.
Determine when content should be repurposed versus customized for specific platforms.
Maintain a consistent publishing cadence while following platform best practices.
Create lightweight edits using existing photography, videos, and branded assets.
Resize, crop, reformat, and enhance creative assets for multiple social platforms.
Edit approximately three short-form videos per week for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts.
Collaborate with Creative teams when additional assets or revisions are needed.
Serve as the primary point of contact across comments, direct messages, tags, and mentions.
Monitor community activity daily across all major social platforms.
Respond to customer questions and conversations using the brand's approved voice and messaging.
Identify recurring customer feedback, questions, and engagement trends.
Share meaningful community insights with internal teams.
Identify creators and user-generated content opportunities aligned with the brand.
Support creator outreach through approved messaging and communication.
Organize creator submissions, responses, and collaboration opportunities.
Coordinate with internal teams to ensure promising opportunities are followed through appropriately.
Prepare weekly social media performance summaries highlighting engagement, growth, top-performing content, audience feedback, and optimization opportunities.
Recommend content improvements based on analytics and platform performance.
Maintain organized workflows, content calendars, and asset management systems using Monday.com, Figma, Google Drive, Google Calendar, Slack, and similar tools.
2–4 years of experience managing social media for consumer, lifestyle, fashion, technology, music, design, or similar brands.
Experience doing community management, responding to messages on social media.
Content creation using Figma & short videos using CapCut for TikTok, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
Experience managing multiple social media platforms and maintaining content calendars.
Experience with community management, customer engagement, and user-generated content initiatives.
Experience adapting content for different audiences and platform-specific best practices.
Strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, X, LinkedIn, and Facebook, with the ability to tailor content for each platform's audience and behavior.
Experience using Figma, Canva, or similar creative tools to adapt marketing assets and create simple visual content.
Strong video editing skills using CapCut or similar platforms to create engaging short-form content.
Excellent copywriting skills with the ability to adapt tone and messaging across captions, comments, and community interactions while maintaining a consistent brand voice.
Strong organizational skills with experience managing editorial calendars, content workflows, and collaboration platforms such as Monday.com, Google Drive, Google Calendar, and Slack.
Experience interpreting social media analytics and performance metrics to identify trends, improve engagement, and recommend future content strategies.
