You will play a critical role in evaluating financial viability of small businesses, developing deep financial insights, and supporting investment decision-making from initial diligence through transaction execution.
What you will do:
- Lead and execute financial due diligence reviews for potential acquisitions, conducting comprehensive analysis of financial statements, accounting practices, tax positions, and historical performance to assess financial viability and identify risks and opportunities.
- Develop sophisticated financial analyses and pro forma financial models (income statement, balance sheet, free cash flows, sensitivity analyses, and scenarios) to support acquisition thesis development.
- Perform detailed quality-of-revenue and quality-of-earnings analysis, including identification of one-time items, normalization adjustments, and sustainable earnings capacity.

- Work closely with legal, tax, and operational teams to gather relevant information, resolve financial diligence findings, and ensure a holistic approach to due diligence across all functional areas.
- Prepare comprehensive due diligence reports, financial models, and workbooks outlining key findings, material risks, accounting and tax issues, and opportunities; present findings to the investment committee and leadership in a clear and concise manner.
- Maintain exceptional attention to detail to ensure all work is free of errors and meets the highest standards of financial analysis quality.
- Collaborate with the technology team to translate due diligence learnings and key financial insights into actionable software improvements that enhance due diligence efficiency.
