Toast is building out a New Ventures business unit with the goal of researching, developing, and scaling a new generation of products and business lines that can have a substantial impact on Toast’s long-term growth. As we get ready to make these new products available to all our customers we are looking to hire a Staff Software Engineer to super charge our team and help us scale our products.
About this roll* (Responsibilities)
We’re looking for a Staff Software Engineer to provide technical leadership for our Ads & Insights products. In this role, you’ll mentor engineers, establish best practices, and ensure the delivery of high-quality, scalable systems. The ideal candidate combines deep technical expertise with a collaborative mindset, helping the team grow while building reliable products from the ground up.

The base salary range for this role is listed below. The starting salary will be determined based on skills and experience. In addition to base salary, our total rewards components include cash compensation (overtime, bonus/commissions, if eligible), benefits, and equity (if eligible).
