Transcarent is Hiring for a Full Time Employee Experience Manager. We prefer applicants who are will be in our Seattle, WA office. We are also exploring applicants to work Remotely who are based out outside of Seattle, WA.
Applicants with experience overseeing Employee Experience programs—designing, executing, and managing complex people initiatives focused on culture, recognition, inclusion, and Employee Resource Groups (ERGs)—and who bring strong communication, project management, and presentation skills are encouraged to apply.
About this Role:
The Program Manager, Employee Experience brings Transcarent's culture and values to life through programs that connect, recognize, and celebrate our people. You will execute and independently manage key initiatives that shape how employees experience our values day-to-day—from recognition programs and culture programming to the moments that bring our distributed workforce together.
This role is hands-on and execution-focused. You will manage complex programs independently, support the design of initiatives that bring our values into every stage of the employee lifecycle, and partner across the organization to build a culture of inclusion, belonging, and community. Whether you're coordinating a hackathon with local office teams, supporting our ERG leaders, or welcoming new hires during onboarding, you'll be creating experiences that make Transcarent a place where people feel valued and connected.
What You'll Do
Culture & Values Programming
- Execute culture and values programming that brings Transcarent's Values (People First, Care, Resilience, Results, Humble and Human) to life across the organization
- Manage recognition programs and values awards that celebrate employees who exemplify our values in action
- Support efforts to embed our values into all elements of the employee lifecycle—from onboarding to performance conversations to offboarding
- Create content, toolkits, and resources that help leaders and employees connect their work to our values
- Track and share stories that showcase our culture and values in action, amplifying recognition across the organization
In-Office & Remote Employee Connection Programming
- Independently manage our Moments that Matter initiative partnering with local office employees to execute meaningful monthly experiences that strengthen community across our distributed workforce
- Coordinate and execute in-office and virtual experiences including lunch and learns, hackathons, speed networking, happy hours, and other engagement activities
- Equip local employee volunteers with tools, resources, and support to deliver exceptional experiences
- Manage logistics, vendors, and budgets for employee programs across multiple locations
- Gather feedback and share insights to continuously improve programming and maximize engagement
Employee Resource Groups (ERGs)
- Serve as the program manager for Transcarent's ERG communities, providing operational support and coordination
- Partner with ERG boards to ensure they have clear expectations, resources, and supportive partnership to achieve their goals
- Support ERG leaders in program planning, event execution, cross-group collaboration, and executive sponsorship engagement
- Help foster a culture of inclusion and belonging by supporting ERGs in building connected communities that thrive at Transcarent
- Collaborate with Internal Communications teammates to coordinate centralized communication and resources to enhance ERG visibility and participation
- Track ERG engagement, sentiment and impact and design action plans to improve
Internship Program & Onboarding
- Lead onboarding sessions for new hires, ensuring they feel welcomed, informed, and connected to our values from day one
- Execute Transcarent's summer internship program, managing the end-to-end experience from coordination through program completion
- Coordinate programming that gives interns meaningful work, mentorship, and exposure to Transcarent's culture and mission
- Gather feedback and share insights to continuously improve the new hire and intern experience
What We're Looking For:
Required Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in employee experience, program management, internal communications, or a related field
- Track record of designing and executing employee engagement or culture initiatives
- Demonstrated experience managing large projects and moderately complex programs independently
- Experience working with Employee Resource Groups, inclusion initiatives, or community-building programs
- Strong project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple programs and stakeholders simultaneously

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in healthcare, technology, or high-growth environments
- Experience managing internship or early career programs
- Background in event planning or employee engagement programming for distributed workforces
- Familiarity with recognition platforms and tools
- Experience with budget management for employee programs

Individual compensation packages are based on a few different factors unique to each candidate, including primary work location and an evaluation of a candidate’s skills, experience, market demands, and internal equity.
