Sr. Director, Product & Data Operations
About the Mission
Turing is the world’s leading AI enablement company. We are currently navigating the critical
transition between early-stage scrappiness and enterprise maturity—a phase where we move
from "14 disconnected tools and spreadsheets" to a "Unified Operating System."
We are looking for a Sr. Director of Product & Data Operations to serve as the architect of
this transformation. You will not just be managing a team; you will be the "Full-Stack Operator"
responsible for stitching together our Product, Data, and Operations into a single, scalable
engine. You will own the internal "Build" roadmap, govern our data integrity, and drive the
system consolidation required to power our AI-native future.
The Role
You will serve as the strategic architect and leader of our internal technology ecosystem. In this
role, you will assume ownership of the internal Product and Engineering functions, unifying them
under a single, cohesive roadmap. Your mandate is to dismantle data silos, establish a
foundational "Single Source of Truth" (SSOT) across our talent and delivery engines, and
decisively consolidate our technology stack. You will bridge the critical gap between operational
workflows and product engineering, ensuring that our systems structure serves as a catalyst for
scalable, high-velocity growth.
Key Responsibilities
1. Drive a Unified Product Strategy
● Roadmap Ownership: Consolidate internal Product Managers and Engineering teams
for "Build" tools under a single, cohesive strategy.
● Gatekeeping: Hold the line on requirements versus feature creep. Manage high-stakes
stakeholder requests (from Sales, Delivery, Fulfillment and Execs) by prioritizing
business impact over low value deviations.
● Build vs. Buy: Define the clear boundary between "Buy" systems and our "Build"
roadmap, ensuring seamless data flow between them.
2. System Consolidation & Architecture
● Product Unity: Audit our current stack of 12+ disconnected tools. Lead the strategy to
audit, migrate, and sunset redundant systems to drive adoption of a unified Operating
System.
● Spreadsheet Exodus: actively migrate critical business logic from manual Google
Sheets into scalable, product-driven solutions without halting business operations.
● Process Automation: Identify manual operational bottlenecks and deploy product
features or AI automations to solve them permanently.
3. Data Integrity & Governance
● Single Source of Truth: Fix fragmented data definitions across the organization.
● Data Dictionary: Create and enforce a taxonomy that aligns all tools. Own the
governance of our data lake to ensure we are AI-ready.
● Feedback Loops: Ensure that performance and quality data flows seamlessly back into
our Talent engine to improve matching and vetting quality automatically.
4. Technical Program Management
● Cross-Functional Orchestration: Ensure that changes in one part of the business
(e.g., a new vetting process) are correctly mapped to tools, workflows, and data
schemas downstream.
● Executive Alignment: Serve as the translator between Business goals and Engineering
execution. Provide clear visibility into the "State of the Systems" to executive leadership.
Who You Are
● The Full-Stack Operator: You have 10+ years of experience spanning Product
Management, Technical Program Management, and Operations. You can write a
strategy deck, define API requirements, and train an ops team on a new workflow.
● The Systems Thinker: You see the big picture. You understand how a dropdown menu
in an ATS impacts the revenue recognition in an ERP to avoid data silos.
● The Diplomat-Operator: You are comfortable managing senior stakeholders
(VPs/Execs). You know how to say "No" to good ideas to make room for great ideas to
drive alignment.
● Data Architect Mindset: You have experience establishing Master Data Management
or "Golden Record" standards in a complex, messy environment. You understand that AI
is only as good as the data it feeds on and where AI/ML capabilities can help scale.
● Change Agent: You have a track record of moving teams off legacy processes (like
spreadsheets) and driving adoption of new tools in high-pressure environments.
Why Join Us?
● Architect the Future: You will be building the central nervous system of a future $10B+
AI company.
● High Leverage: You will move our internal PM and Eng teams under your leadership,
giving you the direct resources to execute your vision.
● Strategic Impact: You will bridge the critical operational gap between our current state
and enterprise maturity—the primary bottleneck to our scale. Your work will build the
foundational infrastructure required to deploy AI agents and automate our core business
processes.
IDEAL PROFILE
● 10+ years of experience in Product Operations, TPM, or Systems Strategy at a high-
growth tech company.
● Proven experience consolidating fragmented tech stacks and managing "Build vs. Buy"
decisions.
● Strong technical fluency (API integrations, Data Schemas, SQL familiarity) combined
with operational grit.
● Experience leading cross-functional teams (Product, Eng, Ops) towards a shared
"Unified OS" vision
