Voize·about 11 hours ago
At voize, we believe the greatest gift to frontline workers is time - time to care, connect, and be present. Today, that time is lost to admin work that pulls nurses away from what matters most: people.
We're changing that by building the AI companion that frees nurses from admin, giving them back up to 30% of time. We don't replace humans - we support and amplify their impact. Today, 1,500+ care facilities trust voize, and over 100,000 nurses rely on our AI companion to ease their daily workload.
Our mission is backed with a $50M Series A funding led by Balderton Capital, with support from HV Capital, Y Combinator and other leading VCs. We combine first-in-class technology with meaningful social impact!
As a Product Designer at voize, you’ll work at the intersection of AI, healthcare, and human-centered design, creating products that make a real difference in the daily work of healthcare professionals.
You’ll translate complex, high-stakes care workflows into intuitive mobile experiences that reduce cognitive load for nurses and measurably save time where it matters most.
What makes this role unique is the level of ownership and impact. You’ll work in small, highly collaborative product teams where design decisions meaningfully shape product direction. From discovery through rollout, you’ll stay hands-on through implementation and iteration, shipping work that is not just thoughtful, but truly impactful!
You’ll work close to the realities of frontline care. This means spending time with users, understanding real workflows, and turning complex, messy situations into clear, usable product experiences.
Own a core product area. Shape and evolve its design direction over time.
Design the full flow, not individual screens. Map end-to-end journeys, prototype interactions, and craft production-ready UI that holds up in high-pressure environments.
Go where the work happens. Join on-site visits and user sessions, watch real workflows, and capture the constraints that never show up in specs.
Obsess over users, drive adoption. Design for diverse user groups with varying levels of tech comfort, and understand how your work drives adoption.
Turn insight into direction. Synthesize research into clear problem statements, hypotheses, and UX principles the team can rally around.
Balance speed and quality. Use AI-assisted workflows and tools to accelerate exploration and prototyping without compromising craft or usability.
Be a partner to Product and Engineering. Make trade-offs explicit, unblock decisions, and stay close through implementation so what ships matches what was intended.
Drive consistency through shared solutions. Work with a Senior Product Designer on cross-product problems, patterns, and reusable solutions.
You not only bring ownership, craft, and user obsession - but also bring great aesthetic taste & strong design instincts.
You have designed mobile-first product experiences end-to-end, ideally in Healthcare, SaaS or mobile workflow tools and can walk through the messy parts: what you learned, what you changed, and what impact it had.
You have contributed to a large design initiative (e.g. a product redesign) and helped drive it toward measurable success.
You are strong in interaction design and visual craft and sweat the details.
You are fluent in Figma and comfortable using modern AI tools to accelerate research, ideation, and prototyping
You communicate design intent in a way engineers & product managers can implement without guesswork.
You understand mobile design patterns (Android + iOS) and can simplify complex, real-world workflows for users who are not tech-native.
You operate well in ambiguity: you ask the right questions, make pragmatic trade-offs, and keep quality high.
You bring the human side: empathy, direct communication, and high accountability.
You are fluent in English & German, meaning you are comfortable working with German-speaking users in research and testing & collaborate with your colleagues in English.
Higher adoption and retention, because key workflows become more intuitive and efficient.
Less time spent on routine documentation, because information flow becomes clearer and cognitive load goes down.
High user satisfaction, because the product feels reliable, coherent, and designed for real-world use.
Faster, higher-quality delivery, because design, product, and engineering move in sync.
We are a fast-growing startup, that means you will tackle challenges, grow quickly, and make a real impact, giving frontline workers more time for people.
