Join Our Team as an Attorney at Axiom

We are seeking a Patent/Trade Secret Counsel to join our Aerospace, Manufacturing, Industrial, and Life Sciences team. In this role, you will provide expert legal advice and support to clients on high-value patent and trade secret matters, with a focus on complex technologies and large-molecule pharmaceuticals. This position offers a unique opportunity to work with innovative companies across multiple industries, managing critical IP disputes and strategic protection of intellectual property. This is an existing vacancy.

Responsibilities:

• Drafting, reviewing, and litigating patent and trade secret claims.
• Providing legal guidance on IP strategy, enforcement, and portfolio management for complex technologies.
• Collaborating with internal teams, clients, and external counsel on litigation and protection of intellectual property.
• Managing patent and trade secret matters for clients in aerospace, manufacturing, industrial, and life sciences sectors.
• Staying ahead of patent law, trade secret regulations, and technological developments to provide proactive counsel.

Qualifications:

• Mid-level experience in patent or trade secret litigation; PhD preferred for large-molecule life sciences focus.
• Strong knowledge of patent law and IP enforcement strategies.
• Proven track record advising clients on complex IP matters.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree or equivalent and licensed to practice law in an applicable jurisdiction.

Preferred Skills:

• Technical background in aerospace, manufacturing, industrial, or life sciences (PhD preferred for biotech).

Compensation:

The estimated total compensation for full-time Axiom attorney roles is $104,500-325,000 per year and for non-attorney roles is $71,250-309,750 per year. Compensation decisions are based on various factors, including, but not limited to, experience, skills, certifications, location, and business needs.
