About the job
Goods & Services is looking for a Senior Manual Tester to join our development team. In this role, you will focus on the ownership of major feature areas and lead comprehensive release testing efforts.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams to validate enterprise workflows and integrations, ensuring high-quality user experiences in a regulated environment.
What you’ll do:
- Own major feature areas and lead release testing activities.
- Validate enterprise workflows, integrations, and consistency across multiple environments.
- Apply strong manual testing fundamentals, including equivalence partitioning, boundary value, and state transitions.
- Execute exploratory and risk-based testing to identify potential system failures.
- Maintain excellent defect writing and triage discipline, ensuring clear reproduction, impact analysis, and prioritization.
- Validate across system layers, including UI, API, and basic read-only database checks.
- Communicate quality risks clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Demonstrate an ownership mindset by driving closure, following through on tasks, and flagging risks early.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum teams and manage testing within CI/CD release cadences and environment flows.
What you’ll need:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in QA and manual testing.
- Strong proficiency in manual testing techniques and test design.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps (ADO) or Jira for test cases, bugs, and dashboards.
- Proven experience in enterprise workflows and multi-environment validation.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience working in Agile teams (Scrum or Kanban).
Nice to have:
- Exp Experience with access testing using Browser Dev Tools.
- Familiarity with logging and basic telemetry review.
