The Marketing Manager – Integrated Tech will be responsible for devising and delivering strategic campaign activity for Omdia, the Intelligence and Advisory brand of Informa TechTarget. The primary focus of the role will be supporting revenue growth goals by creating compelling content campaigns, engaging audience, and driving leads.
Collaborating with the wider marketing team, sales, commercial product management, and analysts, the Marketing Manager will create and deliver strategic campaigns aligned to key market trends across the vast integrated tech portfolio – spanning automotive, displays, manufacturing, physical security, smart infrastructure, and semiconductor practice areas. Instrumental to your success will be using data to improve your decision making by analyzing your campaign metrics to suggest improvements for future activations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute year-round marketing campaigns, aligned to the overall business goals and objectives, as well as market-segment specific goals and objectives.
- Work on the ideation, execution, and management of integrated marketing, communications, and demand generation/lead generation campaigns through web, digital advertising, paid media and media partnerships, email, social media, and other tactics.
- Build insight-based campaigns which rely on strong content themes to showcase the expertise and knowledge of the integrated tech portfolio.
- Work on making the Omdia website the central point of all content-led, insights-driven lead generation campaigns, owning the development of copy, calls to action, and customer journey for marketing campaigns, based on target customer segments, campaign goals, and desired results.
- Ensure consistent use of established branding, core value proposition messaging, imagery, and positioning across internal and external marketing materials, graphics, communications, and more.
- Maintain internal relationships (SEM, SEO, design, web dev teams etc.) and external relationships with relevant vendors and partners.
- Interpret and analyze marketing/advertising campaign results and data; test, monitor, analyze and optimize according to KPIs; develop recommended strategies, timelines, and tactics to further optimize marketing spend and campaign ROI.
- Analyze and report trends over time and use these insights to build more effective campaigns.
- Manage the marketing budget for assigned projects/market segments – planning, monitoring, and reconciliation.
- Lead marketing initiatives for events such as webinars, trade shows, and conferences, focusing on driving brand awareness and generating high-quality leads.
- Collaborate closely with SDR and sales teams to ensure leads are high-quality and aligned with target customer profiles.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field
- Experience in progressively more complex B2B campaigns, creating and managing digital content/insights campaigns independently
- Experience in the technology sector or a strong understanding of B2B technology markets is preferred.
- Experience in global marketing or working across multiple regions is preferred.
- Thorough understanding & experience of marketing function, planning, operations, and execution using marketing automation technology (preferably Marketo), training and optimization
- Experience of working with CMS platforms (but coding knowledge not required), training and optimization
- Thorough understanding & experience of digital (PPC, SEM, SEO, online advertising) and content marketing
- Budget management experience
- Database development and growth including segmentation / personalization
