This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Brand Messaging Strategist based in Brazil.
In this role, you will be responsible for shaping how brands express themselves through language, storytelling, and tone of voice across all touchpoints. You will transform strategic positioning into clear, compelling narratives that define how audiences perceive and connect with each brand. Working closely with strategists, designers, and cross-functional teams, you will ensure verbal identity and visual identity work in harmony from concept through execution. Your work will span brand foundations, messaging systems, campaign narratives, and high-impact copywriting. You will play a key role in early-stage brand exploration as well as final delivery, helping translate abstract ideas into structured, scalable communication systems. This is a highly creative yet strategic role in a fast-paced, collaborative, and global environment where storytelling directly shapes brand success.
Accountabilities:
- Facilitate brand workshops to uncover insights that define tone of voice, messaging direction, and narrative foundations
- Translate brand strategy and positioning into cohesive messaging systems adapted to each brand’s strategic goals
- Develop customer-centric storytelling that clearly communicates brand essence and resonates with target audiences
- Build scalable verbal identity frameworks, including tone of voice, key messages, taglines, and lexicons
- Write high-quality copy for websites, apps, campaigns, and brand communications grounded in strategic intent
- Collaborate closely with design teams to ensure alignment between verbal identity and visual expression
- Present messaging strategies, creative concepts, and copy with clarity to internal teams and clients
- Manage multiple brand voices simultaneously, adapting tone and storytelling to different markets and audiences
- Evaluate messaging performance using feedback and analytics, iterating to improve clarity and engagement
- Contribute to brand activation campaigns across digital channels, shaping narrative and written content execution
- Translate strategic insights into structured narratives for final brand presentations and deliverables
Requirements:
- 4+ years of experience in copywriting, content strategy, or brand messaging, ideally in agency or tech environments
- Strong experience building scalable messaging systems across multiple channels and touchpoints
- Exceptional writing skills with versatility across tones, formats, and audience types
- Strong storytelling ability with a talent for simplifying complex ideas into clear narratives
- Experience facilitating workshops and presenting to senior or executive stakeholders
- Ability to work collaboratively across design, strategy, and marketing teams
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, ambiguous environments with multiple concurrent projects
- Strong understanding of how messaging integrates with brand systems and visual identity
