This role offers the opportunity to contribute to advanced industrial software used in high-precision 3D measurement and digital manufacturing workflows. You will design and enhance core features within a leading metrology platform, combining C++ engineering, geometry computation, and visualization technologies. Accountabilities:
- Design, develop, and improve C++-based features within 3D metrology and inspection software, focusing on performance, scalability, and maintainability.
- Implement algorithms for 3D geometry processing, measurement computation, and data visualization using tools such as OpenGL.
- Develop and enhance user interface components and ensure seamless integration with data acquisition devices.
- Participate in software architecture decisions, refactoring initiatives, and the evolution of core system components.
- Validate and test solutions across multiple hardware and data acquisition environments to ensure robustness and reliability.
- Collaborate with product owners, UX designers, and cross-functional teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
Requirements:
- Strong experience in object-oriented programming with C++ and solid understanding of SOLID principles and design patterns.
- Experience in UI development and software design for complex applications.
- Good understanding of 3D geometry, applied mathematics, and computational problem-solving.
- Familiarity with OpenGL and experience building visualization or graphics-related features.
- Ability to work autonomously while managing technical design and implementation decisions.
- Strong analytical thinking, structured coding practices, and attention to maintainability and scalability.
- Proficiency in French and intermediate English communication skills.
