This role sits at the core of enterprise change governance, ensuring that all modifications across a complex SAP landscape are properly controlled, assessed, and deployed with minimal risk. You will coordinate change and release processes across large-scale, multi-phase projects while maintaining strict alignment with SDLC and enterprise standards. Acting as a key connector between technical teams, business stakeholders, and governance bodies, you will help ensure smooth delivery of system enhancements and ongoing platform stability. The environment is fast-paced and highly collaborative, requiring strong coordination skills and attention to detail. You will also play a central role in managing dependencies across shared system objects and ensuring release integrity across interconnected initiatives. Accountabilities
In this role, you will be responsible for managing and enforcing structured change and release processes across a complex SAP ecosystem, ensuring governance, traceability, and alignment across all stakeholders.
- Develop, implement, and enforce change control processes for SAP system modifications
- Create and maintain Solution Manager projects and release structures supporting project phases and delivery cycles
- Facilitate Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings to review, assess, and approve proposed changes
- Own and manage end-to-end change cycle activities for all change requests and configuration objects
- Maintain object change trackers and manage dependencies across shared and common system objects
- Coordinate Common Object Management (COM) discussions to align prioritization with stakeholders and process owners
- Support cross-functional teams in ensuring proper change planning, sequencing, and release execution
Requirements
This role requires strong SAP expertise combined with deep experience in change and release management within complex, multi-system environments.
- 10+ years of experience in ERP environments, with strong SAP background
- Extensive hands-on experience in change and release management using SAP Solution Manager
- Solid understanding of SDLC, with experience working in agile delivery environments
- Proven experience managing large-scale, multi-phase projects with parallel workstreams
- Strong knowledge of RICEF objects and experience managing RICEF databases
- Experience working in SAP S/4HANA environments (strong plus)
- Familiarity with Jira, SAP Solution Manager, and standard office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Strong communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to operate in complex, multi-platform environments with interdependent changes
- Strong analytical mindset with attention to governance, control, and process discipline
