About the role
We’re looking for an Asset Finance Broker to help educate, guide and convert commercial asset finance opportunities for prospective customers, with a strong focus on chattel mortgages and related business-use lending products. This role is ideal for someone who combines strong sales capability with solid product and credit knowledge. You’ll work across the full sales journey from lead qualification through to approval and settlement, while delivering a transparent and high-quality customer experience.
What you'll be doing
- Qualify and convert inbound and outbound lead opportunities into settled commercial asset finance deals, with a focus on chattel mortgages and related lending products.
- Educate customers on product structure, suitability and benefits, helping them make informed finance decisions with confidence.
- Prepare tailored quotations and lending options based on customer needs, asset type and commercial requirements.
- Gather customer and asset information, complete credit submissions and manage supporting documentation throughout the process
- Manage a high-volume pipeline in Salesforce maintaining, accurate records, disciplined follow-up and strong activity standards.
- Use dialler, workflow and CRM tools effectively to keep opportunities moving and maximise conversion outcomes.
- Meet and exceed monthly sales targets across volume, conversion and commercial contribution, while supporting broader team performance goals.
What we are looking for
- Direct experience with chattel mortgages is essential, ideally gained in commercial asset finance, equipment finance, broker sales, lender sales or a closely related financial services sales role.
- Proven sales performance, with the ability to build trust quickly, handle objections confidently and navigate a wide range of customer scenarios professionally.
- Strong understanding of commercial lending fundamentals, credit assessment requirements, lender processes and compliant financial product sales.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, phone-based or inside sales environment with clear performance expectations and structured pipeline management.
- Practical experience using Salesforce or a similar CRM, along with dialler and workflow tools, to manage pipelines, forecasting, and follow ups.
