This role
The Retail Operations Senior Manager is responsible for driving growth, operational excellence and scalability across the company’s physical points of sale, including kiosks, stores and mobile units. This role owns end-to-end retail operations: new site launches, device logistics, maintenance and continuous improvement, ensuring efficiency, profitability and a consistent customer experience.
Responsibilities
- Lead daily operations of kiosks, stores and mobile units.
- Plan and execute new location launches, coordinating staffing, logistics and operational readiness.
- Define and enforce SOPs, operational standards and KPIs.
- Own device logistics strategy, inventory control and distribution.
- Ensure visibility, traceability and optimal stock levels.
- Lead preventive and corrective maintenance strategy for devices and infrastructure.
- Manage vendors and SLAs to minimize downtime.
- Process Excellence & Automation
- Drive automation, scalability and continuous improvement of operational processes.
- Recruit, develop and lead high-performing operations teams.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Sales, Finance and Marketing.
- Manage budgets, forecasts and report results to senior leadership.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field. MBA or equivalent advanced degree is a plus.
- +6 years of experience in operations, logistics or a related field, and at least 4 years in a leadership role, the candidate should have a proven track record in operations expansion and process automation.
- Proven experience in retail operations and accelerated expansion, overseeing hundreds of PoS nationwide.
- Experience and strong understanding of the credit, financial services or fintech sectors are highly desirable.
- Exceptional leadership and team management abilities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to navigate complex challenges and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in project management tools and operational software.
